By his own admission, he made promises to me in order to gain my business and lo and behold none of the promises were kept. I was promised a 2 week fit and 3 months later still didnt have a fitted kitchen, though he was happy to take a deposit from me to order non existent products. Avoid at all costs and do not let the flash showroom fool you as it does not reflect the quality of service or product.

We have used Hartwoods for two houses in Tytherington and Prestbury. We could not be happier with the end result and would highly recommend Hartwoods to friends and family.

Here's the thing. I'm American. We're really sensitive to service standards. Hart-Woods worked for us in our apartment in England. They were highly recommended by not one but two people I know. They were great from start to finish. 5 stars.

I was out of the country while the work was going on. They looked after me. The level of communication could not have been better.

I have to say the way some people have written on here is disgraceful. The team I worked with could not be the same people.

What I also know,(I work in customer service for a major airline) is that there are some people who are never happy unless they are unhappy or complaining.

I have recently worked on the same renovation job as Hartwoods.The customer purchased a kitchen from Hartwoods. The service that they have provided from start to finish is a disgrace. I cannot believe they are getting away with selling a terrible service for such a high price. There is no care or pride taken in any part of the kitchen design installation or finish.

We had a hartwoods kitchen and it's still not finished. That was seven months ago. We chase and chase and are treated as If it is our fault the job isn't finished. Once they received our money, that was the service done with. We can't recount the number of excuses and re-arranging of times to sort this whole mess out, and it still isn't finished! We would strongly recommend going anywhere but hartwoods as they are quite simply incompetent throughout.

Hart-woods fitted our current kitchen about 3 years ago. The service was exemplary from start to finish. We are quite fussy and particular, and often hard to please, and had a somewhat difficult layout and plan to work to in our renovated 1932 property. Hart-wood took it all in their stride and the company once again excelled and met our expectations. The kitchen looks exactly like it did on the 3d colour design picture. The cost was within budget. The fitter arrived when he said he would and worked in a very tidy and respectful manner. He suggested solutions to small unforseen problems on site and completed the work on time. The quality of the units and appliances and fitting is so good that, after 3 years, it still looks like brand new and new visitors always ask if we have just had it fitted!

What's more, I rang the company 2 days ago to inform them of a very minor problem with the sink and a remedial repair has already been carried out free of charge! You don't often receive that level of service these days.

We have moved house several times and had a total of 4 kitchens from this company over the last 20 years, some in contemporary modern styling and others in a more old-fashioned style. We highly recommend the company as providers of excellent quality kitchens at good value for money prices. No pushy salesmen, just friendly and capable staff. Having renovated the entire property we can honestly say we wish all the contractors had been as brilliant and easy to work with as they were.

Installation good but.

Let down with aftercare on the appliances, we paid extra for extended cover for fridge, oven, hob and dishwasher.

When the dishwasher did fail, Teka were very poor responding, when they did send out a contractor he made a mess and blew the electrics and left.

The second time they sent someone else, he soaked the floor, Teka and Hart Woods showed no interest to resolve the damage caused.

I would strongly advise using a company with strong principles and a reputation to protect.

We would also not agree with the poor review below. We were lucky enough to stumble across Hart-woods while looking for good feedback on a kitchen company after seeing so many negative ones on all the national companies. We wanted a 'wow' kitchen and that's exactly what we got, we are delighted with it. We had not heard of Hart-woods as we live in Sandbach,but when we visited the showroom we were pleased with the helpful and friendly response from Jon and Leanne. We then spent time with Jon explaining the ideas we had in our head, and in no time at all Jon was drawing a plan and working out how to put units into the curved shaped island we wanted. The quote was a similar price compared to other quotes we had, but it was Jon's creativity that stood out from the rest. Jon was able to produce our vision, whereas other kitchen companies tried to turn our vision to fit their kitchens! From the start to the finish of the installation, everything went really smoothly and nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed our minds about something. The fitter Alan was also excellent, and the quality of his work was second to none. We were also impressed with the quality of the kitchen units, they are good solid units and look fantastic. All in all we had a stress free installation and now have the kitchen of our dreams. We would definitely recommend Hart-woods.

We used this company purely on the basis of these reviews. I do not agree with the last review mainly due to the fact this person never even gave Hart-Woods an opportunity to even commence any work. We were over the moon with the kitchen we had installed. We travelled from Crewe especially and were not dissapointed. We would reccomend Hart-Woods to all our friends!
