Pre Christmas Delivery
Since our toilet seat cracked days before Christmas. I called Taps Empire to try to get a replacement in time. I spoke to a polite young man. who helped straight away. In all fairness, he said they could try but were unable to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery. To our great surprise and delight it arrived on the 23rd! Great service. Thank you!
Efficient Service
Placed my order on Wednesday after checking stock by calling them. I was promised delivery by Monday, but they said they would try to expedite the despatch. Very impressed to receive the delivery by UPS Friday morning, so my plumber completed the job over the weekend. Well Done Taps Empire!

Good Online Company
I ordered my bathroom accessories from Taps Empire. Their prices were reasonable and the delivery was quick. When I called them to confirm the delivery date, they immediately resent the courier tracking number email, as the original email was in my Gmail Spam folder for some reason. Very happy with their service.

Helpful Staff & Fast Delivery
Called Taps Empire to confirm availability of a tap, and the staff member confirmed that they had two in stock. Placed the order online, and received the delivery by Parcelforce in a couple of days. Smooth and hassle-free.
Wrong Taps Sent, Still Waiting For The Refund
We received the order super fast however, it wasn't the taps we have ordered! Apparently they have never had the design they advertise on their website in stock and when we asked for a discount they offered to credit me £20 which is just a joke giving we were willing to keep the taps we didn't even want to save everyone the hassle, and the ones we paid for were £297.60. The taps were collected a day later than promised and the refund has not been processed straight away. I am still waiting for the money and I am not impressed with this service. It caused delays - we still have no water in the bathroom because we needed to order new taps (from somewhere else. The plumber had to be cancelled. All bathroom is out of use. Quick response of Customer Service and quick delivery but the product they delivered was wrong and Customer Service hasn't solved the problem to our satisfaction. We won't use them again and we wouldn't recommend.

Caveat Emptor (buyer Beware)
Bought a Grohe tap which had a European flexi-pipe that was also too long. When my plumber cam to fit it however, he was found that the supplied flexible pipes that are used to connect the tap to a domestic supply were unsuitable for two reasons:
1. They were designed to fit a European water system, which is a different gauge to that used in the UK
2. The pipes were too long
This is not unusual; however, what happened was completely unexpected. It is common practice that the flexible pipes provided with taps are designed to be fitted ‘hand tight’ so that they can be quickly and easily unscrewed in order to replace them with more suitable ones. When my plumber attempted to do so in this case however, he found that they had been fitted extremely tightly – so tightly in fact that he was able to unscrew only one of them by breaking it. The other one refused to budge and eventually, the pipe snapped and left a ring in the tap socket that he was unable to remove.
My plumber is a very experienced and qualified individual, and this was the first time he had ever experienced this – even with Grohe taps. He advised me to return the tap as not fit for purpose. Incidentally, was able to find a near identical one (different brand) from the local B&Q that DID have detachable flexipipes as expected, and he fitted this instead.
Taps Empires’ response to my request for details of their returns process has in my opinion been unacceptable:
• In spite of my many repeated attempts to get this information from them, they refuse to do so.
• In spite of my continuing to remind them that my business is with Taps Empire and not Grohe, they continue to direct me to the manufacturer.
Taps Empire say that Grohe state that the pipes are not removable and claim that the plumber has invalidated the warranty by attempting to fit the tap not in accordance with the fitting intructions. They quote the manufacturer’s warranty – which is found buried somewhere on Grohe’s website no doubt, but is certainly not mentioned on Taps Empire’s site. Neither do the fitting instructions mention the flexible pipes in any way. I have pointed these facts out to Taps Empire but still they direct me to a manufacture that is non-respondent.
Interestingly, they contradict themselves by stating the that "if the hoses need to be removed for specific installation such as certain commercial installations or hospitals" then it can be done....
I have attempted to phone Taps Empire to talk to someone but they do not answer the calls. My plumber has made several attempts to talk to Grohe but they either do not answer his calls or they do not return them.
