Dreadful Customer Service
Purchased a bathroom from this company. Originally advised it would be installed early June. This was one of the reasons we selected this company. Upon payment the installation date was moved to August.
Upon completion of the works we had an issue with the quality and fitting of one of the items. Despite multiple calls and discussions the firm refuse to take any responsibility and arrange for the replacement installation. The tone with which I am met by those I speak to is poor and they do not seem to be bothered about fixing the problem.
The quality of the bathroom is okay. This fittings are average. Our favourite aspect is the tiles which we picked separately from an alternative supplier.
You may get a slightly cheaper bathroom than other suppliers but I strongly suggest you choose an alternative company where you will receive a better service.

Named And Shamed
The reason i have headed this review Named and Shamed will be more apparent as you read on.
We purchased a "bespoke" kitchen from a company called My Beautiful Kitchens in 2016 and so the saga begin,s.Their Installation Company was yes you guessed it TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD,formally of 15 Blairtummock Place Glasgow G33 4EN.
Who I might add are the same owners of My Beautiful Kitchens of the same address.
We paid close to £3000.00 for our new kitchen to be installed by TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD,the one we purchased form My Beautiful Kitchens at a cost of almost £8000.00.
The standard of workmanship on the installation was close to horrendous however this is just the basics of the problems encountered with TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD.The project was to take no more that 2 weeks but it took nearly 8 weeks and to date is still not fully finished.
1] VERY POOR PLASTER WORK
We paid to have the whole kitchen er-plastered.They did not remove the radiator, they did not plaster behind the units and the plaster work was so poor we had to have all the walls sanded down at a later date to make them flat and also to be able to paint them.
2] ELECTRICAL WORK
They had to fit all the sockets twice,as they fitted the sockets too loo and out of line. Not too good at measuring.
3] DAMAGE TO BESPOKE UNITS/INSTALLATION OF WRONG UNITS
They drilled holes in the back and sides of the kitchen units for no apparent reason. They also left all the screw heads exposed inside the units along with a number of holes that they had drilled in the back. They also installed the wrong oven housing along with the wrong door. These unites were purchased as concealed fixings,so no screws or anything else showing inside the units, all units were supposed to be custom made as per the manufacturers guide from Stevenswood.Kitchens Livingston.
4] FLOORING
The new laminate flooring that was laid had to be uplifted and relaid by an outside professional flooring company as the floor had been so poorly fitted. We could not open the cupboard door because the laminate floor was lifting/bowing. One of the worst floors they had seen in a long time.
5] INSTALLATION OF WHITE GOOD
We had to have an outside contractor come in to install all the white goods as they had left us for nearly 2 weeks without a working kitchen,no fridge,no freezer,no oven or washing facilities so basically nothing installed by TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS.
6] REMOVAL OF OLD KITCHEN,SITE WASTE AND RUBBISH
We also had to have outside contractors come in and remove all the site rubbish on two occasions because TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD would not do it.
7] TRADESMEN !!!!
The people that did the work "the tradesmen" !!!were rude, threatening and downright abusive and yes you guessed it not a manager or a director would come to site, despite several requests ,the whole time during the installation to discuss the problems.
So all in all a horrendous experience to say the least. So to this end we took the named company TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD of the named address to Paisley Sherriff Court [Simple Court Procedure]Small claims court and we won the case, case number PA1-SG4-17 and were granted a decree on the 24th July 2017 for the sum of £3315.37 plus interest against TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD.
We have served Sherriff offices papers on the named company TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD twice and yes you guessed it we still have not received any monies that were granted in the decree.
So this is our tale of woe with this company, TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD.
We tried repeatedly to have one of the directors of the company come to site for a meeting to discuss the matters and the problems however this never happened until we started to take court action against the company.
To conclude, the management of this company is to say the least very poor, the trades people hat they employ were even poorer; so an experience that will live with us for some time, but not as long as the decree judgement granted in our favour.
All the details in this review are truthful and honest and can also be authenticated at Companies House and Paisley Sherriff Court.
TO THE DIRECTORS OF TOMMY WELSH INSTALLATIONS LTD YOU HAVE BEEN NAMED AND SHAMED.

Great All Round
Had my kitchen and bathroom done by this company a few years back. Disappointed to hear they are no longer doing installations as I have just moved house and would have used them in a heartbeat, brilliant workmanship!
Avoid
I suppose the overall standard of the work was ok. plastering etc I got a kitchen installed by them a while back and would give them a wide berth the next time. After i carefully picked a kitchen i was happy with they delivered a cheaper one i hadn't ordered.Their proposed solution was to offer me a couple of hundred pounds and accept the inferior kitchen or wait for the one i had actually ordered. I waited. The wooden worktop started to bow after a couple of weeks. After sanding and oiling the thing i phoned up tommy and spoke to one of his managers who asked me if i had oiled the wood he then said he would get someone to call me back. Nobody phoned. Other prangs included rusty door handles , kitchen flooded because hose not fitted to washing machine correctly, parts of the cabinets not fitted, just left at the top of the cabinet not screwed in and out of sight.
Hi
We got so tiered with all the problems we took them to Paisley Sherriff Court and won the case against them , needless to say ,they are now trying to close the company down to save paying the monies owed.
So much for being a law abiding citizen !!!!!!!
Anyway from our side we won the case ,it's is a shame that more clients don't use the Simple Court procedure in Scotland ,this might bring a halt to some of the rouge traders, that we all have to put up with.
Glad to say the company now have a court judgement against them and that will likely last longer than the kitchen they installed.

Not Worth The Trouble - Steer Clear.
Tommy Welsh Installations, with links to My Beautiful Kitchens, designed and supplied a kitchen for us in May 2016. What should have been a ten day kitchen installation dragged on for over five months and is still not completed / supplied to a satisfactory standard.
Allocated installers were not great and hindered by units arriving late, damaged worktops, wrong units / doors being supplied and lack of project management or interest from the company once monies had been transferred.
Door panels and drawer fronts were cut to size from larger panels, losing the bevelled and lacquered edges we had chosen. Pan drawers not supplied as designed and those that were supplied were the wrong shade. Apparently this is called 'bespoke' kitchen design. We still have not received all units and door fronts as originally agreed.
Project management from the company was very poor and non-existent at times, particularly when problems with design and supply became apparent. Communication with the company to resolve issues was near impossible as phone calls, emails and letters were unanswered. The last correspondence we received from this company accused us of harassing them when all we wanted was completion of a service we had paid for.
As customers, we expect a kitchen design, supply and installation company to be at least familiar with the items that they supply and not to sell items that they are unable to supply in the hope that they can change the design / specification at a later stage.

Stay Well Clear Of This Company
I ordered a kitchen & bathroom to be supplied & fitted by Tommy Welsh installations, right from the start it was to be with them. Their designer came to my house on three occasions and wee went to the showroom once. It was only then did My Beautiful Kitchens & Bathrooms was mentioned. From day 1 there was issues, no one turned up on the first day. No one to take delivery of the kitchen & bathroom, they sent the wrong kitchen. Never ordered the handles. Doors were damaged, holes drilled in wrong places. Work tops had to be taken out and replaced as badly fitted. Sink was the same could not close the cupboard door as the sink was hitting off it. Tiles are different shade, some are damaged. They refunded the price of the tiles because they came all the way from Turkey, sorry that's a lie I got the exact tiles with same serial numbers from Homebase at half the price! There was a list of issues from the very start. Flooded bathroom 4 times which damaged the kitchen ceiling, still not repaired. 4 attempts to fit a radiator. £1800 to repair their fitters work. My installation was to take 3 weeks and ended taking 7 months.Their communication is like their workmanship very poor. They block all negative comments on their facebook page. They quickly recognise your phone number so stop answering your calls. We used other peoples phones and got answered immediately! You need to keep doing that. This review does not cover half the issues with this company or their employee's. Please do not go near them it is not worth the stress and distress they cause.

Great Company & Great Workmanship
I had my kitchen put in nearly 5 years ago by Tommy & his team. It still looks as good as the day it was installed and lots of people have commented on how nice it looks.
Very happy to recommend these guys

Don't Touch Them With A Barge Pole
We thought we were employing a reputable company to replace our kitchen and bathroom but almost from day one they proved to be incapable of doing the job they promised. The kitchen units were wrongly measured and several had to be changed. The microwave was missing, not a great problem since the unit supposed to house it was wrong and there was no room for it anyway. The sink was missing, the radiator was missing. The floor tiles were short, wrongly measured, then they were moving and the grout was replaced two or three times. Eventually the whole floor had to lifted and replaced but we could not get any more of the original tiles so had to find a replacement, not as nice. Would you believe Tommy Welsh Ltd wanted us to pay them more money because the new tile was more expensive. Then the new work tops had to be replaced as the fitter had chipped them and generally made a hash of them. The new hob was fitted with only millimetres of space between it and the upright unit. When I insisted it was replaced they again wanted us to pay for the replacement.
As for the bathroom, they again under measured the wall tiles, a week to get the rest of the tiles to finish the job. The units were the wrong size, we asked for wall to wall and they fitted units wich were five or six inches short. When we insisted on no space they wanted to use a panel fill in, we eventually got them to order a complete new panel. Unfortunately this now means that the toilet is not centred and you have to put the lid down to flush as it is almost completely behind it, also the cupboard door hits off the toilet when you open it. The shower was not fitted correctly either, the water was either too hot or too cold. Apparently the plumber had crossed the pipes, he also did not fit one of the shower heads properly and the water was gushing out of the top of it, flooding the bathroom and blowing the light.
There is lots more but suffice to say this whole horrible experience lasted over seven long weeks and we did not get the kitchen we had hoped for. They seemed to be more interested in getting their money and several times threatened to hold up the job until they got the money for the 'finished' rooms. They have neither apologised or contacted us to see if we are happy with the work, I think they know. Nor have we been offered any kind of discount for the sub standard workmanship and all the hassles that involved.
All in all a thoroughly unpleasant experience with some people who should not be in any kind of customer service .
We're having the same problem. Got them to fit a 8.5k bathroom. Paid 6.5k up front. They were looking for the balance even before they had completed the job. The project manager, was constantly looking for us to make the final payment even though the job hadn't been completed. He even threatened us with passing it over to debt recovery - so much for Tommy's "family values"!!
We have just paid almost £200 today to have an indepenant report carried out by a company recommend by Trading Standards. While we are still waiting for the written report, the verbal feedback is that we should rip out the bathroom due to the poor installation . The toilet leaks all over the floor when you flush it. The shower also leaks - no wonder as it's held to the wall using mastic!!!! We can never get to speak to the owner - he's either away on holiday or busy running his two kids to school ( see the nice picture on his website of the happy family!!!)
The brings me to this other guy. The first question we asked was " do you employ your own tradesmen "". Altjough the answer was yes- guess what...,. the whole job was sub contracted to 'Dreamhouse Developments'. The have now changed their name to Murdoch Drvelopments Ltd - I wonder why!!!!!

Creative Kitchen Design
One of the things that stood out for me was Tommy’s dedication to finish and detail. After the job was done he went over everything with a fine toothcomb, checking everything. This gave me a great degree of confidence in the work and was a great personal touch. Love the kitchen and the work – would endorse him to friends and family.

Good Quality Kitchen Installation Service Provider
We bought a new house and the kitchen was very outdated and rundown – the previous owners hadn’t maintained it all.
I scouted around the various kitchen fitting companies and came across Tommy Welsh online. The quality of the site and the customer reviews prompted me to get in touch and arrange a visit for a quotation. The price was much more reasonable than I expected, so I contracted Tommy to do the work.
Their work was high-energy and they managed to install our new kitchen in just a couple of days! I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonable, polite, and reputable kitchen fitter. Great work, guys!
