Millbrook Warranty Is Worthless
So after having a Millbrook bed for seventeen years and being extremely happy with it when we felt the mattress was sagging too much and uncomfortable we decided to replace it with another Millbrook. Big mistake. The last had 1700 springs, the new one 2500. After two months we noticed it sagging badly so contacted the seller ezbeds. They contacted MIllbrook who sent a technician. The mattress had sagged around 6cm. A week later we received an email saying that the mattress had sagged due to misuse! Misuse? Yes we hadn’t turned it according to the manufacturers guide. Well, we didn’t receive a guide but still after two months the mattress should not be performing this way. Had we been informed when purchasing maybe we would not have bought this, if we has been given any paperwork or guides when it was delivered maybe we would have turned it more. I requested a copy of the technicians report but they have so far declined. So much for the warranty or customer care. So after spending a lot of money on a new mattress we have a mattress that is worse than the old one and Millbrook and ezbeds don’t care. They’ve had their money. If you look at all the feedback for Millbrook you will find complaint after complaint saying the same thing. I wish I’d read them before buying. Millbrook Beds you are a disgrace.

Don't Buy Dreams!
Don't buy dreams. The quality is poor and even if you take out insurance and the mattress caves in two places they will try to wriggle out. The man who came to inspect our mattes told me they'd try to wriggle out if the insurance and he said ones are good they stick to Thierry insurance policies unlike dreams!
Milbrook Windsor Mattress: Too Soft
We loved our Milbrook Divine mattress and thought we would get another Milbrook. Big mistake. Although this mattress (the Windsor, from Land of Beds) was much more expensive, it is much softer. It's basically an uncomfortable bed to sleep in together. We'll be replacing it sooner rather than later.

Millbrook Mattress
Bought a 3000 sping Millbrook mattress 2 years ago for £700.
Changed the sheets one day to discover staggered tear along the whole width of the mattress.
Got in contact with the service department of the company who requested photos of the warranty claim.
They returned stating '
I have consulted with our production specialists and our Sales Director and it is felt that this is not a manufacturing fault and therefore is not something covered by the manufactures extended 10 year warranty.
The pictures show that the fabric has torn across the yarn which suggests to us is the result of some sort of external rubbing on the mattress. A fault in the fabric would have resulted in the separation of the fabric in the same direction of the yarn, which would have continued through the tuft, which your pictures show are still intact.'
The mattress states not to be flipped over during its lifetime, 2 months after i contacted Millbrook, i turned the mattress over to find two complete tears on the rear side continuous along its width!
Millbrook has very fair warrenty scheme in place on its website, age of mattress vs cost of repair, but trying to get them to acknowledge it constitutes under their repair scheme is neigh on impossible.
STAY AWAY FROM MILLBROOK MATTRESSES
If i could give them less than one star i would !!

Avoid
I was told by the salesperson that I would get the 4 foot bed in 2 weeks. After many phone calls, sending a recorded delivery letter, checking the shop hadn't gone out of business, and the shop manager saying he would never deal with Millbrook again, I got it in 8 weeks. After sleeping on it for 5 weeks I realised it had sunk in the middle where I mainly lay. I bought a 4 foot bolster pillow in order to try and use the whole bed, but it made no difference - I was basically sleeping in a hammock. I had the shop customer services man and the bed manufacturer's rep look and try it. They denied anything was wrong - it was clearly in their interest to do so. I stopped sleeping on it for 5 weeks and discovered it had partially restored itself, but after resuming use for 4 weeks it has again sunk. There's clearly a design fault. I've had advice from CAB on this and will try them again.

Honest Friendly Reassuring From A Renowned English Company
Having read the reports on this site, I was dubious about purchasing anything from Millbrook.
However, as a Purchasing Professional I cannot simply read a review and believe it to be 100% accurate. There is always something more to it.
So fortunately for me I was privileged enough to be able to visit the factory and discuss the concerns raised on this site; Millbrook beds are aware that mattresses can sag and can become indented but they said that they do attempt to advise the owner and prevent this from occurring. It’s basically settlement, like in a building, whereby the pocket springs and mattress fillers settle and become accustomed to the weight loading. In short Millbrook advise that a new mattress should be turned every week for the first 3 months and then every two weeks after that. It sounds a bit of a pain, but it’s good practise no matter who the manufacturer and moreover it better you’re made aware than not! If you’re not prepared to turn the mattress then expect sagging – simple! Better still buy a non-turn mattress!
Personally, I’m really pleased with my Millbrook mattress and bed, and believe that the premium for using a home grown UK manufacturing business is well worth it.
Not something that you would normally associate with a well travelled Purchaser who is very aware of what comes from the Far East!
Sounds like you work for Millbrook. If you are supposed to turn the mattress every week then maybe this should be mentioned in adverts and a care guide be despatched with the mattress. I have a mattress that has sagged both sides in 3 months and they will not do anything. They claim it is misuse. See you in court if need be Millbrook!

Millbrook Latex Elite
This bed was purchased for £600 but not from dreams. Initially you had to hop onto the bed as it was as fat as a whale omlette but after 8 months it started to sag in both sleeping positions.I thought it was just settling so put up with the back and leg pain caused by sleeping in a concave position it got to the point where I could take no more so having a ten year guarantee and being british made I rung up the shop where it was purchased who then arranged an assesor to come out from millbrook I have had the report this morning where it has been classed as normal wear and tear which goes with what is written on other reviews about being fobbed off do yourself a favour and steer clear.

Mill Brook Super King Sizebed
This bed was purchased for £1400 and was hard earned money i spent to have a once in a lifetime luxurious bed. The result is a bed unsurpassed in DIScomfort and has caused countless rows between myself and partner as i spent so much money on such a hideously uncomfortable bed. It is a zip and link mattress type. Both the mattresses sag badly, are coming unstitched with hard sharp nylon threads piercing the top fabric and stabbing you through the sheets!!! The pocket sprung mattresses are letting the springs come thru the fabric which adds to the already considerable discomfort. This is a terrible bed and i badly regret wasting my money on it - AVOID this company - complaints got us nowhere.

I Purchased A Millbrook Romance King Size Mattress
I purchased a Millbrook Romance king size mattress from Mattressman it was recomended as one of their best mattresses. However after 18 months it suffered sagging on both sides leaving a mound in the centre, this made it very uncomfortable.I contacted both the supplier and Millbrook and a " specialist " was sent to inspect the bed. His report was that the bed had no problems. What a joke, there is clear visual and physical evidence of sagging. Do not buy a Millbrook mattress, if it has a problem they just blank you. Their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Their "specialist" inspector is clearly biased also you are not given access to the report.

We Bought A Millbrook Bed, It Was The Most Expensi
We bought a Millbrook bed, it was the most expensive bed we have purchased. It began to bend in the middle, and like other shoppers it was so much firmer than the one in store. We bought ours from an experienced salesman in a department store (not Dreams) On measuring around the bed the middle from side to side was lower, where the base is in two pieces & this caused the mattress to sag too. The bed was over £1000 in store & eventually Millbrook sent 'An Independent' bed expert - of their choosing to examine the bed. He was not allowed to tell me of his findings so how independent was he ??? Naturally he said it was wear & tear. I received a letter from Millbrook saying same. The 10 year warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on. There letter finished by saying @Please be assured ........' they could not have cared less. Please be assured Millbrook, I shall frequently visit bed shops & anyone looking at your beds will be given full details of our problems ! ! ! You would think a Company of this type would give a little more help to their customers. Will be buying a Vi-Spring bed - they know how to make beds & treat their customers with respect & gratitude.
