Would You Eat In An Establishment With Just 2 Stars ?

I one star because I could not leave 0. Before you buy ANY mattress ask for a written copy of the t&C's for the Warranty. I can only say this because my dad was a second hand car salesman. The mattress bed manufacturers and retailers on high street are akin to used car salesman in the 1970's & 1980's snake oil salesman who are only interested in making a sale.. and Kaymed appear to be the worst of the lot. Their Warranties for Quality underpin their Sales Promotion and they do not honour the Warranty. Only because I am now retired can find time to take the Retailer Rodgers of York to Court for breach of contract and mis-selling. Like so many others we have ridges and bumps in our bed, the poor quality confirmed by an independent mattress technician and still Rodgers and Kaymend duck & dive. Do not buy Kaymed and ask for the T&C's of the Warranty.. this advice from UK Trading Standards

Warranty

Brought a mattress from Downtown, was in the process of moving so couldn’t get the receipt. Took pictures of the damage to my mattress but only reported it a year later once move was complete and had access to the paperwork. Now won’t warrant the mattress even though it’s classed as 10 guarantee. Worst company and mis-sells the guarantee.

Do Not Buy!

Do not buy anything from kaymed!

They are very poorly designed products for a very high price!

When you have a problem with the product the manufacturer does not want to help at all!

STAY AWAY FROM ANY PRODUCTS FROM KAYMED!!!!!

Do Not Buy

Bought our mattress in 2008. Have tried for the past three years to get in touch with someone and get a new mattress. No one will call us back. We have like a 2-3 inch indention in our mattress and we did the rotations like they told us to do. My back hurts so bad. I wish we bought an American made brand mattress because we are told now they don't even sell this mattress anymore in the USA. Nice to have spent $2,840.00 for this and can't even get it replaced or someone to call us back. Still trying to get this taken care of before our warranty runs out. All I can say do not buy this bed. We are very unsatisfied!

Kaymed Does Not Stand Bby It's Pooly Designed Product

bought this 2k dollar mattress at Jordans in 2007. Although we just called in for the 10 year warranty, we noticed a few years ago that the mattress was indenting and wearing quickly. Today we have 2" intents in a lot of places even with the 180 rotation. This mattress is very hard to manipulate. We protected this mattress with not one but two pee proof protectors as well as a third mattress bad heater for the winter months. We did this because we have 3 kids that may decide to sneak into bed with us and we knew one accident would be devastating. We never had any "kid accidents" in this bed. There is a zipped cover that comes with the mattress. YOu are required to take that off and wash it periodically too. NOT A SMALL PROJECT. Our top was clearly slightly discolored vs. the bottom part of this cover that is never exposed to any sunlight or even air really. Like anything that is exposed to sunlight, or basic wear, the white color could dull over time. Kaymed voided our warranty because they claim the top was "stained". Well, there was no one stain...the entire top was a slightly discolored in many areas..... it's a complete scam for them to void the warranty. We didn't have just one indent of 2", we had several wavy indentations thru out. It is really crappy for for Jordon's to not support the products they resell. They had no resolution. You would think they would offer us a store credit or something to get us to come in and buy another mattress. Save yourself a lot of frustration and aggrevation and do not buy a kaymed matress. They might start off comfortable but are not build to last!

Extremely Luxurious

We bought this bed about 6 months ago and it is the most comfortable bed we have slept in.

The thin layer of memory foam on the top gives it a lovely soft feel but the rest of the mattress maintains the support that you need.

Would highly recommend it.

Far Too Hot

We have the Kaymed inner wisdom Byron mattress.

If you are a menopausal woman you must avoid this like the plague. Even when you have been out of bed for 10 minutes trying to get cool, when you return to bed the mattress is still hot.

Also, it is unbelievably heavy. I am unable to change it on my own, even with fitted sheets, as I cannot lift the corners.

My husband bought this and was told by "Dreams" that it was good for people who get hot during the night.

I am having mega problems with overheating too, despite the shop playing a video advertising a ''' temperature neutral sleep!!'' This should be a case for trading standards as the goods are not sold as advertised !

We ended up giving the mattress away. I spent most nights on the sofa until we got rid of it. Our son tried it for a few weeks and hated it too. We replaced it with a hemp mattress from John Lewis. Good luck with your dispute. Incidentally the people we gave the mattress to are only using it as a spare for visitors.

we are having the same problems with the thermopure mattress, we paid €1.651 for the mattress and €248 for the base.

we bough this bed because i am always cold and my husband is always roasting at night.

we were told in the shop that this bed would regulate the our temp while sleeping because of the layer of gel...load of rubbish !

my husband is getting a very restless sleep because he is too warm and i cant sleep because i am too warm and we have resorted to sleeping with just the top sheet on is. we live in Ireland which isn't a warm country.

got a letter from kaymed which said no where in their guarantee did it say it wouldn't cause overheating. but that's what the shop that i bought it in was advertising. i am still in dispute with the shop at the minute. its a rip off

Kaymed Raphael From Dreams. Started Well Foun

KAYMED RAPHAEL from Dreams.

Started well found to be very comfortable, however after six months use we now have a situation where we have two troughs down each side of the bed, with a hump in the middle despite turning the mattress 180 degrees as per the instructions. It would seem the spring in the gel has diminished and the contours are now fixed in the gel so it no longer contours to the body as it did initially. This makes for a very expensive mistake as far as comfort is concerned, if after 6 months the mattress has reached a stage where it no longer functions as described in the literature. I was pleased to find that other purchasers have suffered from identical problems. This technology needs to go back to the drawing board before it is fit to sell to the public.

Kaymed Beds Are Very Good For Back Suffers. People

Kaymed beds are very good for back suffers. People who have bought them have sometimes had very extreme back conditions, such as, slipped disks. As a store we have had a lot of customers with bad backs that have recommended there friends (who also have bad backs) to come in and buy one - as it made a great deal of difference to the quality of their sleep and well being.

These beds are made from visco-elastic memory foam, which through its sensitivity to heat moulds to peoples bodies give superb support for the spine. The Impression 3000 is an old model now. New models get released every year and Kaymed have similar products at the moment, such as the Well Being 5000 Plus.
