Rest Assured Essence 2600 Pocket & Latex Mattress

Really disappointed with this mattress, the first one dipped where we slept either side and got a big lump in the middle, so Dreams said it was faulty and replaced it, within 6 weeks the replacement had dipped also only worse. It's like sleeping in a pot hole with a huge hump in the middle.

Great when it's brand new, i was sold it as being great for my bad back but after 4 weeks you spend the night folded in half and wake up feeling as if you have slept in a deck chair.

I too bought the Rest Assured Essence 2600 and can agree with all who love it. I found an amazing price at www.bedcentreuk.co.uk for only £535 and it took just one week to be delivered. The mattress has such a soft initial feel but with all those springs underneath the latex top you get all the support you need without the mattress ever feeling firm. Because of all the springs when your partner moves you hardly notice it which is just what we wanted. Try bed centre UK as they were really helpful on the phone.

We went to Dreams and fell in love with their Sicily mattress but at £889 it was out of our price range, so I set about searching the internet for something similar. We came across the Rest Assured 2600 pocket sprung latex topped mattress which just fitted the bill. Similar to the Sicily but not quite as deep. Our existing sheets fit it rather than having to buy new ones for the Sicily! We found it for £535 at it's cheapest, but at Bestpricebeds.co.uk it was a little bit more (£579) but was delivered within 2 days rather than 4-5 weeks as everywhere else had said. Absolutely fantastic mattress, love it....try it to believe it!! You won't be disappointed.

Purchased this excellent mattress from www.bestpricebeds.co.uk after researching the best mattress to get. Having gone around various show rooms testing the mattresses on display, we concluded that we were looking for a high pocket spring count and latex topping to provide the comfort, body moulding and durability we wanted from a mattress.

Dreams (high street bed store) had a mattress that was unique to their stores from Rest Assured, called Sicily; it had the highest pocket spring count we'd come across in all the stores (2400 pocket springs with latex). We looked on the Rest Assured website and discovered they had a specifications document that listed all their different mattresses: http://www.rest-assured.co.uk/downloads/specifications.pdf

This led us to searching for the "Essence 2600 Pocket & Latex Mattress". Rest Assured had a promotion on its site for www.furniture123.co.uk, which said it offered a price promise. So when we found http://www.bestpricebeds.co.uk/rest-assured-essence-2600-pocket-latex-mattress-pid1076.html offering the mattress for £579 (delivered free in 48 hours) we enquired about their price promise - but they took 3 days to conclude that they were unable to fulfil their "promise" so we went with Best Price Beds.

We ordered Wednesday afternoon and delivered Friday morning! Excellent :o)
