Soon Goes Soft

I bought my mattress from back in action. The mattress is really great for about 2 years and then becomes very soft and unsupportive. Massive waste of money. Really is best to avoid this one. Don't be fooled by how great it feels in the showroom! Such a disappointment as I was initially so pleased with the purchase.

Comfortable But Hot And Goes Out Of Shape

We bought this mattress several years ago. Lovely and comfortable but too hot!

Also the sides are going bulging out of shape and it is beginning to feel as though I am going to slide off the side as the bed now sags at the edges. Shame as it was really expensive.

Great Night's Sleep

I have the firm mattress as my husband was on the heavier side and I love it. It stopped him rolling out of bed or rolling into each other. I can also sleep right on the edge without falling off! I can't sleep on a soft mattress so this one has just enough give in it. I also have the standard pillow which is also great. Not having to turn the mattress is another bonus. Downsides are few. I would like handles on the cover to help when lifting it into position. The bed base which came with it cannot be put onto blocks and is too low for a person with mobility problems.

What A Ripoff

bought a mirror foam mattress from sealys at the brick 4 years ago for over a thousand dollars, was great for two years then started to sag in the middle and go soft.Tried to get the company to honor the warranty to no avail, they just kept stalling and finally sent a rep to inspect the mattress and he agreed that the mattress had gone soft in the middle but there was a small stain the size of a quater on the mattress which made the warranty nul and void. My advice to anyone purchasing a mattress is really read the warranty this is common in most warranties however this mattress was still a piece of #!!! what a waste of money, never again will I buy from the Brick as they don.t stand behind the products they sell.

Loses It's Firmness After A Few Years

I bought a Sealy Mirrorform Superking mattress several years ago (approx 5) after I began suffering with appalling back pain and stiffness within 5 hours of going to sleep. After months of waking in pain and sleep deprivation we replaced our new Ikea bed/mattress with the Sealy Mirrorform. We had a couple of years of great use. It was a very comfortable mattress. Money well spent, or so we thought. We thought that the only downside was that the foam has weird thermal properties, it absorbs body heat which it then reflects back out (so you can get a tad warm in the middle of the night).

HOWEVER - in the past few months my back pain has returned. On inspection, the mattress has gone soft and lost its elastic properties around the lower back/hip area. The top and foot of the mattress have retained their firmness but the mattress is unsupportive and saggy in the one place it really needs to be firm.

This mattress cost nigh on £1K and I expected it to last more than 5 years before needing replacing. Extremely disappointed.

This Mattress Is For People With Back Pain.

No mattress is perfect.. but at least this mattress comes with a 2 month money back deal!!!!

And my instructions and the shop made it very clear that the mattress is deliberately made firm to allow for the inevitable softening.

Why on earth is anyone on here complaining .... if they didn't like it just send it back.

By the way... some of the reviews on here are for the Sealy version...I bought the Back in action version and after a few weeks I loved it.

Can't say if it will cure your back.... but I'd choose the return option anyday.

Wish I'd Ordered One Years Ago

On Friday I took delivery of the Back In Action Sealy Mirrorform mattress after extensive research on line and in shops. As a long-term sufferer of back problems due to spina bifida occulta and a flat lordosis, I have for years woken every morning with a dull lower back ache and pain between the shoulder blades. That was until I slept on my new mattress. I hope I am not premature in my review, but I have awoken for the last two mornings pretty much pain free. The mattress is extremely comfortable both for me and my husband (who does not have back problems). It is firmer than most other memory foam mattresses I have tried, but that suits me and is one of the reasons I opted for this product. Price was also a major factor - I simply couldn't stretch to £2200-ish for the high-end Tempurs. This mattress cost me £890 from Back In Action and appears to be money well spent.

The only downside to it is the lack of handles on the sides to help move it into position - a small point in the scheme of things. I am delighted with the mattress and even more delighted to have been able to enjoy a pain-free lie-in this weekend - the first in many years!

Sealy Mirrorfoam Mattress

I wish I had read this review site before I wasted £800 pounds on this completely awful mattress. To make it worse I also bought the Mattress from Back In Action and was told the same thing about their relationship with Tempur, which was the mattress I wanted to purchase.

I was persuaded by the sales spiel at Back In Action that this would be ideal for my disabled wife with back problems and me as I have suffered back pain for 10 years. Mattress arrived and unpacked it. Didn't notice any unusual smell apart from a rubber type smell. Settled it in and after a few days noticed that the bed was very soft, or at least it was soft in the area where you sleep. Then the next problem was that I was waking up in a pool of sweat. Never had that happen before and thought I was ill. Changed the duvet to a 3 TOG, same thing happended again. My wife was also by this time waking up in absolute agony with a painful back. Then I started to get these unbelievable deep back pains running from my Back to my Front. I could hardly get up in the morning. Over the next year we tried to make excuses rather blaming ourselves not the bed. We also felt very tired, almost exhausted in the morning. Then the horror story begins. The instructions say 'No need to turn the mattress' Well I thought it looked like it needed to be turned so I lifted the Mattress and almost died of fright.Underneath the mattress was what I can only describe as a black mass of mould covering almost 70% of the bottom and also the base of the bed. I immediately rang Back In Action to explain what had happened. I took photos, wrote a report, I even got someone in to have a look who is in the textile and fabric industry. They had never seen anything like it. The response from Back in Action was not as hoped and they suggested that we had poured water onto the Mattress. After more correspondence and further rejections we were forced to give up. Mattress was burnt and replaced with..... a Tempur. Funny that we now have this new Mattress on the same bed for 1 year, have no back ache, sleep like babies, no night sweats and no Mould. Moral of the story. dont' buy a Sealy Mirrorfoam Mattress if you have the choice go for the Tempur. Never deal with Back In Action.

Too many bad, similar reviews, I don't see any responses from the company.

Definitely will not buy this product.

Thanks for your review. I guess I will save my money and not buy a Sealy product. It is them that should stand behind their product.
