I cannot begin to emphasise how disappointed I am with Citi Clean/ Clean Simply. We had used them previously without issue on another property and employed them to undertake a clean of a flat where the vacating tenant had cleaned and tidied but not thoroughly. As we were unable to attend it was unsupervised and paid for in advance. The booking process was exemplary. I had asked for some specific items to be cleaned such as light fittings and dado rails and suggested the hob was left as it was to be replaced. When I attended the property, it was clear that most areas had not been touched and NONE of the areas requested showed any sign of having been cleaned. The cleaning was booked to include interior windows which were filthy and had not been touched. This meant I had to arrange another clean quickly following the new tenants moving in at greater expense and stress. I reported my disappointment to the company who were not interested in the slightest. I am not minded usually to provide negative feedback, but the fact that I paid in good faith up front and that the company would not acknowledge that the work was unsatisfactory despite photographic evidence. I would advise anyone to avoid at all cost.

The cleaners never came in and after repeated emails and calls to confirm where they were, the team comes back saying someone fell ill and they had to take the person to the hospital which was not so. I asked them to call me up to discuss and sort something out, they never called, when I called didn't pick up my calls or even reply to my emails.

It was my last day of tenancy and I had to extend it for few days to get someone else in to perform the cleaning and pay all that extra monies for urgent cleaning and extension of tenancy.

Worst possible cleaning services around. Totally avoid them, not reliable at all.

- turned up late by 45 minutes

- standard of cleaning was pathetic and landlord did not approve the 'professional clean'

- rubbish customer service when calling about the late cleaner and then trying to get through after the clean about the quality

Personally I had a very good experience with Citi Clean. They responded to my enquiry with atention to detail and have managed to fit me in on next day cleaning. The cleaning lady that arrive spoke average English, but this wasn't an issue since the job she performed was quite good. Especially cleaning the bathroom and the oven. My landlord is quite picky and im glad I didn't have any further problems with the cleanness of my flat. Overall, very good experience and would use this company again in future. Just one note of advice is to use less smelly product for the floors as the one being used was quite strong. Thanks

This company is a joke! We paid for a professional clean to be done and absolutely nothing was done. The carpet was untouched that we paid for , bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. Kitchen wasn't cleaned. All the floors were dusty and were not cleaned at all. When we tried to call them they asked me to email them, and then the stopped responding to my calls/ emails. They then sent 1 reply to say we should have raised this within 48 hours, and have now been ignoring every call or email. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.

Terrible company ever. Cleaning job was done very poorly. Cleaners were done in about 2 hours, when their suggested clean time was 5-6 hours. When they left, the floor was wet, bathroom glasses and shower head were not cleaned, fridge and drawers still had dusts, etc. Inventory clerk asked that the company should revisit to clean. The company never responded to the request.

I have used the company for the end of tenancy cleaning. The cleaning was done poorly and once I tried to get in touch I never got the reply back.

Due to their poor job, I have lost part of my deposit. So stay away and DO NOT USE this company.

This is the worst cleaning company.

One woman turned up to clean the flat for an end of tenancy clean, and said she would be 4 hours. When I returned she said she hadn't finished but as I had other appointments I had to pay her and trust that she'd finish the job. She didn't.

The flat was poorly cleaned and I was charged for another clean from my landlord.

The company did offer a free re-clean but my landlord refused on the state of the previous one! They also said no refunds which was ridiculous. Very rude company. DO NOT USE.

I shall be going to trading standards aswell.

Absolutely trouble service and customer service if u want to throw your money away go head and use them

We booked this company for an end on tenancy work. Most unprofessional company i have ever worked with, they sent one One person to clean our one bedroom flat, she came with a 'nanny's grocery trolley bag' She could not speak any English what so ever and I felt really bad for her because she was an elderly woman. She dint know what to do or to what extent the flat needed to be cleaned.

When I called to company the guy there was very rude and all he kept saying was "send us an email with your complain to which we got a waffle reply back.

We had to pay the land lord to clean the entire house again.

Please do not use this company.
