This Has Put An End To Our Damp Laundry Winter Woes!
Apparently this heated airer costs 5p per hour to run. It's definitely worth that as an alternative to putting our central heating on just to dry the laundry in our flat.
When you have no outside drying space and no tumble dryer, this is a real godsend.
It gets really hot (no danger of burning yourself though)and dries a full load of laundry overnight. No more damp smells from towels that take too long to dry in winter!
It can be folded out fully to dry two full machine loads, or half of the shelves can be folded flat to reduce the floor space it takes up. We generally keep it 'half out' which is plenty of drying space for a machine load.
It's pretty pricey as an initial outlay but so worth it. I don't know how we managed without it now.
