Purchased an electronic transformer. It didn't work. I tested it and understood why. Informed customer service, who told me to return it. Then claimed it wasn't faulty as an excuse to not pay return postage costs. Have no respect for the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and they will try and make you bear the cost of any faulty goods that they've sold to you, being returned.

If you're thinking of changing energy suppliers, I can highly recommend bulb. There ethos I have found is great with greener energy and their customer service has been brilliant. Appalling people to deal with. They list bulbs incorrectly then waste your time with lengthy web chats, finally admit that the bulb was incorrectly listed but instead of sorting it for you they tell you to send an e-mail repeating all the information you have just given them. Only respond after several e-mails. I would never ever deal with such an amateurish company again. Glad I paid with PayPal otherwise I would be concerned about getting my refund, incidentally the prices on this site are quite high.

This company has owed me well over £2000 for nearly a year - they are appalling and use affiliate programs like Affiliate Window to get sales and then don't pat the very hard working affiliates who sell there goods - avoid having anything to do with this company.

I ordered some downlights and under cabinet strip lights on a Monday. By Friday, there was no sign of them or a dispatch email, so I called them. They said that they had had to order the downlights from the manufacturer, they should be in with them today, so would be dispatched to me on Monday for delivery Tuesday. I was frustrated that they had not let me know of the delay. Then on Tuesday, there was no sign of them, so I called them back and was told that they would be dispatched today for delivery tomorrow. I was frustrated by this point, so I told them to cancel the order. I wish I had paid a couple of pounds extra and got them from screwfix.

I bought 9 led bulbs November 2012, an expensive purchase but worth it in the long run. I always judge a company how they perform after you buy a product. Anyway, couple months later one of the bulbs blew, 15 quid each so I wasn't about run out and buy a new one. I emailed the company, sent the old one back free of charge and was sent a replacement, easy.

Another one blew this week, contacted the company again, couldn't find my invoice number. Not a problem, all sorted out in a few emails. They popped one in the post without even asking to send the old one back. Nice one.

I ordered several ceiling fans one of which was faulty.

Very reluctant to help, told me to contact the manufacturer who in turn sent me back to energy bulbs.

They had the faulty fan collected but said they would send it away for 'tests' before they would consider replacing it.

Still not received replacement. would not touch this company again with a a barge pole!

This website sell energy-saving light bulbs under their own brand, Decorlamps, that claim to last 2000 hours and don't even last half that time, plus they advertise products they don't stock and send you substitute bulbs that you don't want. When I complained they said the life of the bulb, as advertised on their website and on the packaging, was just an estimate and refused any refund. What a rip off!
