Completely disappointed with these kennels not only are staff rude I was actually called an idiot on the phone, defo would not recommend this kennell.

Have used the kennels & dog groomers several times & always pleased with service.

Also the owner collects & delivers my dog which is really helpful too.

After being invited to view the kennels (always a good indicator of quality) and which I did, (and having spotted that a friend had booked-in her beloved dogs into them) I had no hesitation in booking a few days for my hyperactive Golden Labrador into these clean, efficient and well-run kennels, which have no shut, solid doors, a view and 9 paddocks in which the dogs can exercise daily. Rather typically my dog couldn't wait to get in - and couldn't wait to get out. He had obviously been very well-treated (including his food - a joy not to have to weigh it all out as Blackbrook will provide food at a very decent price) and had showed no signs of stress. I shall certainly use these kennels again and recommend them.

I put my two dogs into blackbrook for the first time in the summer holidays .I was nervous doing so as I have never used dog kennels before. The first time I dropped them off I was getting back into my car when I heard a member of staff telling a dog to 'shut up'. It worried me a little but thought maybe he's having a bad day?? I gave them another go in September, and as I stood in the main office waiting for my dogs, I heard the member of staff doing the dog grooming shouting 'shut up, all you do is bark all day' quite aggressively to the dog she was bathing. It made me very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to take my dogs home. Since they have been there, my dogs have been very quiet and almost 'sad' and 'depressed' never again would I use these kennels or recommend them to anyone.

I have tried several dog groomers for my two dogs (one is a particular nervous dog). The last time the groomers took double time and my puppy came away with a couple of cuts on her. I was not happy. My puppy was so scared when I picked her up.

Searching online for a groomers not too far, I found Blackbrook Kennels and gave them a call. I found the person who answered the telephone really friendly, informative and reassuring.

My puppy had an appointment within a week (which was great) and came home looking lovely. I have now taken both my dogs for regular grooming sessions. The price is extremely reasonable and the price given is the price I pay. There is no added extras put on top as it was in the past.

I would definitely recommend this groomers. Even my nervous dog was fine when she was there and looked so lovely once she had been tidied up.

A great find and one I will be using in the future. They also provide a kennel service, so I am hoping my dogs will also get on well if I do need to put them in the kennels in the future.
