Very Pleased
Hi we went on a big family holiday and 5 other family members left there dogs here aswell,My dog Leo who is a boxer stayed at rose tree kennels over the summer for 2weeks and has never been in kennels before,he was abit nervous going in but the lovely staff assured me that he will be fine and it may take a day or so to settle in as it is a new environment to him,we took his own food that was dried and we rang up a few times whilst we was away and the staff told us that his first 2 days he wasn't really eating that much so they had to cook him up some mince to add to the dried and he enjoyed that,we did expect him to loose abit of weight to be honest as he's in a strange place but on the day of picking him up he' was so excited to see us and he looked great so thank you so much all the staff at rose tree and I carnt fault this place atal at the end of the day there's always that somebody moaning and not happy, hope you enjoyed your sweets from Leo x

Very Alarmed And Annoyed!
We left our dog and my daughters for the first time in boarding. We sussed rose farm out before hand and were assured they would get walks etc, however when I was there u did notice very little interaction with the other dogs and I thought well at least they would be safe as in nobody could pinch them. Both dogs are under the same vet. We know the vet on first name terms, that's how well looked after both boys are, people commenting on their coats and build.
We took their own bed to sleep on to ensure they had comfort. We took their own food and treats and toys.
We called the kennels whilst away.
My husband picked them up and upon return to home the dogs were ravenous. They have been like that allay and I know dogs are always hungry, but exceptionally hungry.
My black lab who is usually musclely looking is skinny! You can see his ribs and feel the neck bones, he is normally a solid looking boy and I am very sad that he has been starved despite having more than enough food left for them both. My daughters dog the retriever looks skinny too and feels it! But he had more fur so not as noticeable. So where is their food because they hadn't been getting it! I'm disgusted with the staff at rose farm who received 165 for each dog to be kept locked up, that's what we have sadly paid for. It doesn't mean that they are dog lovers or care about other dogs just because they know about dogs or have a few of their own as we found out.. I have taken pictures of my boys as I'm disgusted! You are heartless. I am sad both boys have been subjected to this.

My Dog Holiday Home!
I have a typical terrier - which if anyone has owned one knows what a menace they can be! She came here for her holiday and loved it. She loved the staff and her company I think as she came back a bit hoarse. She even got a bath before she came home which I have no complaints with!! I felt happy knowing that she is somewhere safe and being looked after, I worried about leaving her anywhere to start with as she is on medication however the staff assured me it wouldn't be a problem and asked all the right questions - and even better she was good for them! Most importantly thanks to all the staff who looked after my gorgeous girl.
Dog Put Down Due To Poor Care
Our dog was there over the weekend and the staff were rude at the start of it.
Picked dog up today and j noticed he was sat by the gate not breathing properly, he couldn't walk. Took him the vet and he was in heart failure and his lungs were full with fluid.
Staff neglected to notice he wasn't breathing properly or active.
Owners rude and staff rude making pathetic excuse for their neglect. Our dear family pet had to be put to sleep due to their neglect
Sick Dog
My little dog went into Rose Tree Farm boarding kennels for 5days in November while my husband and I went on a much nee ded break. our dog was happy and health when we left her, when we got her home she would not stop drinking and wetting it was distressing to say the least for us to watch. Then she started to cough and retch I thought she was chocking. I took her to the vet the following morning my poor dog was quite ill the vet said she had an infection for which she was given antibiotics for a week when I took her back a week later she was recovering and the cough had cleared.
Someone must or should have seen my dogs distress and reported it to the vet. That is what we were told would happen.
We are lucky our dog got well but I hate to think what would have happened had we been away a day or two longer. There seem to be plenty of staff who are pleasant enough but do they really monitor the condition of the animals in their care .
Sorry but never again.

Our Dog Loves It Here
We have left our dog here a few times now whilst we have been away and he is always happy to go in which is a good sign. The staff are so friendly and helpful and are lovely when you call to see how he's settled in. He's always come back clean, happy and healthy and have never had any problems. The kennels aren't amazing compared to some of the newer ones I've seen but its the staff that really make me feel happy to leave him in their care and not worry the whole time!

Excellent
My dog Hacker loves going to Rose Tree. The staff are amazing and they love and take care of my pup brilliantly. Obviously all dogs will be excited to see their owners it doesn't mean they have been treated poorly. I am not happy at the bad reviews as I have put my dogs in there for twenty years and had no problems. The kennels are heated in the winter and the dogs have blankets supplied. THey get fed and walked and at £12.00 per day is a bargain to know Hacker is safe and well cared for whilst I am away. Well done girls x
Rude!
I went on a week holiday and put my dog in rose tree kennels!! Never again!!!!!! The staff are rude and awful!! I have never been spoken to like I was before by them!! When I rang to check how my dog was doing they spoke to be like I was stupid!! To make it worse my dog was ill when he came home and had lost weight!! Do NOT put your dog here!!
Poor Poor Accommodation
First time using rose tree, I have used other kennels with our previous dog who we sadly lost after 16 fun years, however our new dog went into rose tree a happy bouncing fellar and came out extremely unhappy. When we collected him he cowered in the corner as if he didn't know us and my husband had to go in and pick him up, which was distressing for us all including my little girl. He had cuts all on his legs, his lips all woozing liquid where they were cut on both sides and he seemed very unhappy. Before taking him home I rushed him straight round the vets, he is having to take antibiotics and hopefully with lots of rest. Fingers crossed we see a better side to him tomorrow or the vet has instructed we take him back for further examination.
I am very upset that I put him in this environment, and even more annoyed that I was not informed he was showing signs of distress within his week stay, nor was I told of his wounds when collecting him.
In future I will pay the extra £1.40 a night and have him stay with a one to one sitter in a home from home environment than cause this much distress to my beloved dog.
Sad Poorly Dogs
We put both of our dogs into Rose Tree Farm for a short period on 22nd March 2013 for 2 nights (3 days) It was a very bad weekend for snow and the dogs were in the kennels to the left of the reception which looked to be very exposed to the elements. On collecting them, as you would expect both dogs were really excited to see us, however the male dog was extremely distressed. He never howls but when I put him in the car with his sister, he started to continue to howl all the way home in a really distressed manner. When we got home it took a while for them to settle, when they had I took them upstairs for a warm bath to clean them after being away, which they tend to love and play excitedly for ages with each other afterwards. This was very different. I took the female and she was very quiet and just let me wash her, then when it was the male dogs turn he was sick on the carpet (again this has never happened before) He stood there and let me wash him - neither dogs played excitedly afterwards! For the rest of the evening and the next day all they did was sleep, curled up in such a small ball you could hardly recognised them. As the days passed they seemed to get back to themselves, but not quite right. Since then we have taken them to the vets twice, the first time they suspected kennel cough and gave them anti inflammatory tablets. These have not worked so today they have been prescribed antibiotics. Our conclusions are that the dogs got really cold whilst in these kennels, they had both had the kennel cough vaccine early in the year so we don't think it would have been a reaction to this, and anyway it was too long after. The people at this kennel are really nice people and I would not score this against them. But please think if you dog is used to a lovely warm home where they do get time for some piece and quiet these kennels are not the place to put your dogs. We have put our dogs in several different kennels in and around Warrington and have never had any problems with them on their return.
Q&A
How much do they charge? I have 2 dogs, I need 2 weeks stay for both.
