Woodfarm Kennels and Cattery Dudley

This is our dogs 2nd stay at Woodfarm and we are extremely happy with how he has been looked after. He loves to play and cuddle and it looks like he's had lots of both. Staff are very friendly and caring. He even came home with a new toy this time. Will definitely be using Woodfarm again.

MY POOR BABY GIRL LOST NEARLY 2 KG IN A WEEK SHE WAS SO UNKEMPT AND UPSET WHEN WE COLLECTED HER HER COAT WAS IN A TERRIBLE STATE HER COLLAR WAS MISSING SHE HAS FUR MISSING FROM HER EARS AND SORE FEET SHE EAT HER FOOD LIKE IT WAS THE LAST SUPER SO WAS OBVIOUSLY REALY HUNGRY SHE NOW HAS GASTRO SO WILL BE VISITING THE VETS TODAY HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO MY PRECIOUS BABY GIRL I HAD MY SUSPICIONS WHEN I CALLED AS THE WOMAN KEPT SAYING HES OK HE IS A GIRL SO NOW I KNOW WHY YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY DOG AND WAS JUST GIVING ME A LOAD OF BULL !! NEVER EVER AGAIN AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Left my cat there for 14 days. Conjuntivitis after 5 days resulting in vets fees. On collection, advised he had been bitten? Bald area below right eye with three healed small spots. My cat has not been to a vet with the exception of annual vaccinations. First and last time.

Just collected my fur baby from her 3rd stay this year. Its like her 2nd home. The staff are great with her as she is quite timid but they sit with her and hand feed her to make sure she eats. She has even put on weight during this last stay. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a top class doggy hotel

Took my cat to this cattery to stay for just over a week. Wish I hadn't. The website is really lovely and says you are welcome to look around the cattery but when I got there and asked, the woman there was really rude and abrupt and said they don't encourage viewing the cattery, she was really determined for me not to see it which rang alarm bells. Anyway, when we picked up our cat and got home she was ill, sneezing, coughing, shaking and really thin. Her eyes had discharge coming out of them, this wasn't mentioned to me when I picked her up, the woman couldn't grab my money off me quick enough and get me out, she also charged me for 10 days even though my cat had only had 8 full days. Her carry cage came back FILTHY and it stunk, washed it all immediately. I have never seen my cat drink and eat so much since she got home, it's like she hasn't been fed all week. Absolutely disgusting, all they care about is taking your money and leaving your animal to starve and become ill and not tell you. NEVER AGAIN

We left our happy standard poodle for 14 nights, I rang every couple of days and they always said he has eaten, had a walk and is a very chilled dog... Which we totally agreed with! OMG when we collected him he couldn't wait to get out of here, he had lost masses of weight to the point where you could see is ribs and pelvic bones, they give me is bed which was damp and screwed up in a bag which then went straight in the bin! . When we got him home he was so dehydrated and hungry, I wouldn't mind if they had said he wasn't eating much I would of gladly paid extra for chicken etc which they do say that they have which I think is a lie! I find it odd that it is CASH ONLY and no receipt , NEVER AGAIN there is better kennels out there.

Cat came out so sick he spent 2days in hospital and they never noticed.Nasty attitude when contacted to find out why and it couldn't have happened in their cattery well over 20years we have used them and recommend never ever again

absolutely dreadful, our dogs have caught mange and been seriously ill since there visit, they mixed the dogs up and the male appeared to have had his tail broken.

This experience has caused constant vet visits for the last 3 months and £700 so far in bills

Very unhelpful and uncaring about the state of our dogs when we collected them, would not take any resposibility .

we keft our two cats, who have never been in a Cattery before, with woodfarm, we called in the off chance before we booked in as any good Cattery will just let you see kennels at any time, we were taken through to 'rooms' and shown round, they had a shelf for beds, a little armchair and scratching post, and plenty of room to move about as we have one very large cat, the cats there at the time were all chilled out and none looked stressed, kennels were very clean, our cats came back unstressed and I think one had put on weight, will have no hesitation to take them back, and would recommend them any time,

My dog was in these kennels for 14 days and I got her back desperately thirsty. I took her home and put her in the back garden. she pee'd a very small amount of concentrated urine and then had 2/3 bowls of water over the next few hours. I was also concerned that the staff were extremely reluctant to let me see her living conditions when I dropped her off and, on picking her up, they refused to unlock the gate so that I could look for her blanket which they had lost. A good kennel should not be worried about owners seeing the facilities. NEVER AGAIN.
