Buy A Bigger Bell

Bought this collar in desparation as my cat is a natural born killer. She has 3 bells Attached to her original collar plus the liberator collar. Really thought this this would have done the trick. Sadly no. This product has made absolutely no difference whatsoever. In the 10 days the cat has worn this collar she has had 3 birds. Am off to the wildlife sanctuary again to try and save her latest victim

I Found The Liberator Worked Well

My cats were bringing in birds on a daily basis - got them some of these collars on recommendation of the local animal sanctuary. It worked - as soon as the collars were on, no more birds. Took the Liberator off for a day while I was fixing one cat's collar and the same day she caught a bird. I recommend putting the device on a different collar though as the one that comes with it is likely to fall off and get lost in my opinion. Doesn't seem to stop them catching mice or rats. It does go off all the time but my cats weren't bothered by it - seemed to perceive it as just another of those random beeping noises which seem to accompany humans! Seems it doesn't work for every cat but in my opinion definitely worth a go and you can always apply for a refund if not.

The Best Collar Ever

My later husband purchased two of these collars 2 years ago and my cat has never brought a bird into the house since we got them. She lost the second collar last week and now I am buying my third. I have been delighted and would happily recommend the collar to other cat owners.

The Liberator Liberates Cats.

The cats are free to roam and kill with the liberator. You think oh hes got the collar on he/she wont kill again then WHAM your cat hits you hard with an alive bird with broken neck completely paralysed but able to blink at you. and of course the cat lying next to it proudly as if laughing at you with the liberator collar on his/her neck.

IT DOESNT WORK DO NOT BUY IT, IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE THE CAT SAFETY LATCH ON IT!!!

Liberator Does Not Work

Our bird catching cat has worn one about a month. Yesterday he caught an adult thrush. Waste of money, bells are cheaper.

And he just caught another thrush today, while I was writing this review.

Liberator Cat Collar - Rubbish

My cat has just brought in her third dead finch of the week wearing this inaffective Liberator Cat Collar. The alarm only goes off when she scratches at her collar or when it's jolted when she lands very heavily. This is pointless because by the time she has landed (not heavily usually when stalking birds) she has already caught the bird.

The CatAlert collar alarm seems to be a better option even though the alarm sounds about every seven seconds, although it will be turned off between dusk and dawn when the cat is kept indoors.

Cat Hated It, A Bit Bulky For It And The Whistle W

cat hated it, a bit bulky for it and the whistle was distracting and annoying to the cat, and it was expensive and annoying to the owner - me, I will now try a combination of bell and bird alert collar with UV light fringe, must have a breakaway collar for the cat's safety too. On windy days the birds cannot here the whistle anyway, better to have a visual cue that the cat is around

Great Product The Liberator Cat Collar. Our Cat Us

Great product the liberator cat collar. Our cat used to catch birds on a daily basis, two bells reduced her success to one or two a week, but this cuts her down to less than one a month!... except during the fledgling season, when we keep her up anyway.

Recommended+++

And yes, it does go off at other times, but the cat soon gets used to it, and it tells us when she is around.. or where she is around when we need her.
