Croft Riding Centre, Croft, Warrington

Couldn’t get over my experiences from the couple of times I went to this riding school. Got told which horse I would be riding by a young girl who wasn’t dressed appropriately to teach (very short denim shorts and bra top). Horse got dragged out of a barn then saw the man who owns it smack one of the horses which put me off before I had even got on. I used to take lessons here when I was younger and it was a brilliant place- always tidy, friendly professional staff, horses looked after but don’t think I’ll come again after this experience it just wasn’t the place it once was .

I visited Croft last Thursday 7.00-7.45 for a group lesson.

It was my first visit and I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I stepped through the gates.

My instructor was very good and explained everything very clearly as we went along.

As I am an adult just starting up riding again after many years away from it I couldn't recommend Croft Riding Centre high enough.

Croft Riding Centre is a well established, quality riding school. I highly recommend it! I first learnt to ride at Croft (Many years ago) and most recently have returned for lessons. The teaching is excellent and the instructors are highly knowledgable, supportive and encouraging. Within the space of 4 weeks I have gained the confidence and ability as a novice rider to complete my first dressage test with my horse which is also learning along side me through the fantastic teaching and schooling at Croft Riding Centre. I am amazed with the progress my horse has made since having lessons at Croft and this makes me very happy to see him improving all the time! THANKYOU CROFT!

Croft is adorable, it's such a friendly, clean yard!! It was so quiet too! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and it's so well kept. We were able to tack our own horses up, which was really nice. It's obvious how you treat your horses really well judging from how clean they were (also they were healthy weights.) We had a lovely jumping lesson on our surprisingly forward horses, unlike other riding schools, you don't overwork your horses. Within the first minute I had fallen in love with the horse I was on!! I wish I had known how fabulous this place is, I would had visited much sooner!! It's reasonably priced and I got my money's worth!! Best riding facilities I've ever used, definitely coming back!! I seriously advise everyone to go here for riding lessons !!!

Me and my friend went to go visit and we were expecting a little quiet yard with not much going on. We were SO wrong!!! Croft ridding centre has the BEST riding facilities I've ever seen and the most kind, friendly and qualified instructors I've ever met. The horses themselves were unbelievable, they were a perfect match for me and my friend and within 10 mins we'd fallen in love with them. Our lesson started perfectly on time and finished on time as well with our horses tacked up and ready to go on arrival. Me and my friend have been to a reasonable amount of riding centres and we were literally blown away by croft. If you don't go your really missing out I'd HIGHLY reccomend to anyone whether it be your 1st lesson or your not confident or your just looking for a pleasure ride, croft riding centre is the best you will find around. Please please please don't be puy off by the last post just go check it out for yourself and decide because we did and we're already planning on going back next holiday break. 100% loved it, don't think about going, JUST GO!!!!!! You really won't regret it at cheap lesson prices too! I couldn't think of anything wrong with this yard expect its perfect!!!

My husband bought me 6 lessons for my 65th birthday! Hadn't ridden for 55 years but absolutely love it. The staff are amazing, supportive, encouraging, knowledgeable and fun-loving. What impresses me is that the horses are the top priority. They are loved and cared for and there is a real family atmosphere around the yard. I have learnt so much over the past 5 months and my fitness level has improved dramatically. Riding at Croft has changed my life! Thank you.

I have been riding at Croft for nearly 2 years now. In that time I have met new friends, teachers and horses but most of all, I have got so much better at my riding. I had been riding all my life but never learnt anything but since I started here I have learnt lots and I have even jumped a 3ft spread in just 2 years! I never want to move. Lynn is a great photographer too and is kind enough to take photos at special events and let us use them for free from the Croft Riding Centre facebook page which is very fun and runs monthly competitions which I won once. So next time you are thinking about moving or starting riding, take a look at the reviews and ring the person up at the office to come and book a lesson!!!!

Had a fantastic session with Easy Riders last week - instructor gave some good health and safety advice at the beginning of the session and then took us through the basics in a friendly and relaxed riding lesson.

We followed the riding with coffee and cakes and stayed chatting for over an hour after our lesson. Great company which followed a great lesson. Absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next session!

I love croft riding centre so much! They are fantastic at teaching. They have so nice horses that you could ever think of!

Just wanted to say what fantastic Christmas events Croft have held for their clients! From first time dressage for the Ladies group to Christmas parties for both the pony club members and the Own a Pony Day on Christmas Eve - my daughter attended both and had a thoroughly good time! Then there was the Christmas show which was superb fun for all levels. Staff were working hard at all events and we were made very welcome as usual!
