I Don't Think The Panic Mouse Was A Good Buy And I

I don't think the Panic Mouse was a good buy and I wouldn't recommend it, it's too expensive especially when you add in the cost of batteries and replacement wands.

Our 8 Month Old Siamese Learned To Tip The Panic M

Our 8 month old Siamese learned to tip the Panic Mouse within a very short play period.

She would catch the furry ball and hold it and circle the toy while pulling until it fell in the direction where there was no cross piece. It is stabilizided only left -right and not front rear.

I finally found a piece of plywood and put a carpet piece over it and screwed the base to that. Now she pulls the wand off of the tip of the wire stick as it just slides loosely over it.

Next I shall have to put some heat shrink over that junction so she cannot tug it off. She also broke the string where it joins the slip ring.

I guess, next step is to put some 30 lb monofilament leader in place of the string. She also has stripped the artificial feathers off of the balls in no time. All in all, Panic Mouse is a start in the right direction, but needs work to outwit a normal aggressive and thinking kitty. They are smart and are hunters by nature.

Panic Mouse - My Cats Love Playing With Toys On St

Panic Mouse - My cats love playing with toys on string. So much so that before I got this panic mouse, I never got a chance to relax as my cats would beg me to play with them.

This product is a godsend. Both my cats love it (one is very timid too but after a few minutes he loved it). It has kept them entertained for hours. Even if they aren't actually playing with it, they are mesmerised by it which means they are not following me around dropping their toys at my feet.

The random action is very good - it really is similar to what a human would do with it when playing with the cat. You can also detach the wand and mouse and play with your cat yourself which they also love.

The only downside is that although it is pretty sturdy and has stabilisers, the cats do sometimes attempt to walk away with their "prey" in their mouth and so pull it over and I'm not sure how happy I'd be leaving them alone with it as it suggests on the box.

If you have cats that love to chase things on string, then I would definitely recommend this product.

Panic Mouse - Got This From Pets At Home For &poun

Panic Mouse - Got this from Pets at Home for £20.00. Looked really good and thought that our 2 cats would love it. Takes 3 AA batteries (not Supplied). Cats were a little worried at first. Eldest, cat 1 year old Pumpkin, played with it for around 3 mins. Youngest, Mighty Man 6 months old, played for around 15 mins. Left it switched on for around 1.5 hrs with neither cat interested! Made of good construction and very innovative design. It turned out Pumpkin was too sophisticated to be bothered and Mighty got bored. I like it, but even I after 1 hour got fed up of the damm thing.

I would consider that this is lazy cat owners toy. If you have a empty box with poltsyrene bits in, this would entertain my cats longer and would be a lot cheaper!

This Consists Of A Mouse Like Furry Thing On The E

This consists of a mouse like furry thing on the end of a string which in turn is at the end of a "wand" which is controlled by a mini on board computer we are told.

It "casts" the line randomly with the aim of your cat trying to chase it. In theory it is a good idea but in reality the cats got bored with it after about 5 minutes and I was pleased we hadn't paid £24+ which is what it is advertised at on various websites. We got ours for £15.00 from a well known shopping channel outlet in Warrington.
