Stupid Subscription Cancellation.

I ordered a subscription that includes calobartia with Netflix. Half a month passes and they are charged plus for a standard subscription. The support replied that it had to be canceled manually and now the money cannot be returned. Information about what needs to be canceled was not covered anywhere on the website. I like setanta, but this situation was honestly disappointing. I hope you will correct this defect, and a reminder to other users on how not to get burned.

I did not use any feature and asked for refund but they refused.

The List Goes On! I Am 17 Year Old Boy From Irelan

The list goes on! I am 17 year old boy from Ireland, I subscribed to a supposed one month subcscription only to watch the UFC on December 12th for a total of €25. Unknown to me I was subscribing for 2 months as it is the minimum subscription offer but when I subscribe I only have to pay for the first month and I am only told about the 1 month. I notice after the month is up I still have the channels I subscribed for then I continue to notice a further €25 coming out of my bank account totalling to paying setanta €50. I ring to try sort this out and explain about how I was completely mislead and would like my money back as they pretty much hid a very very important piece of information stating the minimum subscription is 2 months. I get absolutely no co-operation and am told it was my fault and nothing got to do with them, I don't get my money back but the subcscription is cancelled.

Overall, setanta completely mislead me into subscribing for a total of €50 for 2 months, I am absolutely disgusted with this service and certainly will never be dealing with such a broadcaster ever again and will certainly be advising my friends and family to stay well away aswell.

Do not opt for setanta, you will be robbed of your money! Would have given zero star rating if that was possible, absolutely disgraceful service.

Setanta promotes a live NRL coverage and then replay a game from a previous round. Pathetic.

Still Charging Me Months After Cancellation

I have had a terrible experience with Setanta.

Cancelling your subscription is in my opinion deliberately difficult and awkward. Having spoken to customer service and cancelled my subscription (which was confirmed on the phone)I am still being charged on my credit card 4 months later.

Really Poor Signal For 18 Months With Setanta Spor

Really poor signal for 18 months with Setanta Sports, and after 18 months of calling abut this they decide they might have sent me a faulty card at the start. I am now trying to cancel which is a nightmare. I cancelled my direct debit as I dont owe them any money and dont trust them to take any more(they've taken extra from me before and wont repay it). Now being told I'm not allowed to cancel unless I have a valid direct debit set up, ow ridiculous. They have text me asking me to ring them, why cant they ring me? It's because they want me to call their 0871 number and be on there for 30minutes. Never ever use this company, I am one of thousands as I have read reviews like this on other websites

Got Connected 29th April 09 4 Days Later On The Ph

Got connected 29th April 09 4 days later on the phone to them as picture quality was really bad.. Sent new signal to sky box but no improvement.. been on the phone several time since and wrote letters.. Got a reply saying that its NOT THERE FAULT ! what a joke.. Got put through to technical support on to them for nearly an hour still no better, guy was swearing in the background thinking I could not hear him.. cancelled my DD paying them no more.. starting legal procedings to recover my fee's and all the telephone expenses & letters.. Will also try and recover legal costs.. Not paying for a rubbish picture..Got my satallite checked at my expense but it was ok.. SETANTA your coat is on a shakey nail ready to fall.. Customer services poor except for one guy really nice guy but so sorry he couldn't fix my problem.. Even got a call from someone after sending my first letter and they told me that they were aware of the problem and working on, at my expense I dont think so... Satanta your going down and I for one wwon't miss you.

If You Just Cancel Your Direct Debit With Setanta

If you just cancel your direct debit with Setanta Sports cos you're having problems getting anywhere with them [ you cant cancel a card ] you'll find you are still receiving their transmission even months after.

i was still connected 6 months before getting letters asking for bank details. put a note in telling them i had already canceled

. then aggressive chap who only wanted bank details and would not listen any explanation that tried to make phoned me.he got me so mad i hung up

then got another letter saying the are cut off my connection

[ which they have done ] good, cos they only leave connected

to build up the debt .also in the last letter i got the debt collectors threat .

I've have sent dozens of emails to 4 different Setanta addresses

and have had some "" will reply in 5 days " but nothing happens. don't they understand the customers they are losing when the word gets around how they treat subscribers.
