Total Failure From Start To Finish, Unbelievable

I took out a contract with Virgin that included a mobile sim with unlimited data. When the sim arrived my asking showed 250gb limit. Virgin started that this would be sorted and I'd have truly unlimited data. This did not happen.

I have had 8 attempts to sort this with o2. Repeated promises broken. Customer complaints were suppose to contact me and have not, including 2 requests for a deadlock letter. They have been told to do taking money out of my account, but they have not stopped. This has been going on for since March we are now at the end of October.

I have spent 10-12 hours going through there substandard app to do most of this, at times waiting mid conversation did almost an hour. Again anther significant failing.

On top of this the area where I use the sim has had issues for months that is still not resolved. Again no response from customer complaints on this issue.

I am now being forced to take legal action against them and Virgin. Huge regret taking out this service, if only I'd known. Will be moving from both providers.

Yesterday my truly unlimited data ran out. I had yet another phone call. This time I insisted that my contract was cancelled with penalty. After been repeatedly put on hold for almost an hour while the tech was trying to discuss this with a specialist team I was told that the contract was going to be cancelled with no further bill. Guess what, I THEN GET A BILL FOR OVER £250 AND WILL BE GETTING A TERMINATION FEE. When I contacted O2 they state that the waivering was not discussed and down on my account.

I am now going to ofcom and communication ombudsman and seeking legal advice. If you are in the same situation. I suggest you do the same.

I have put a data request in for all communication to be sent to me and the number of accounts that have been missed unlimited data plans, breaching various legal requirement.

Like almost every review here, largely 1 star as we are unable to leave a zero star rating there has been no reply (very consistent anyway), at least virgin give a bland token effort.

I do feel sorry for some the people working for this company surrounded by failing systems and colleagues that are incapable of doing what should be simple tasks. I know what I'd do if I was them - there must be many better places to work!

Appalling company

Unfortunately I am not able to score 0. I have been with 02 over 10 years and got a new phone on the 4th of April. When I asked to have the old sim transferred to my new phone they disconnected the old phone but never activated the new phone. After numerous calls that made no difference I decided to change phone company. I got the PAC code and my phone was finally activated with the old number on the 11th of May. Over a month later. They sent me a final bill yesterday when they in reality owe me. I called today and they haven’t got my correct address in their system anymore even though I have called them about 25 times and used that address without any problem. They are not able to connect me to anyone as they once again screwed it up. They changed their system earlier and changed my email to a fictive address so I couldn’t access my 02 app. When I asked them this morning what to do I was told to go to an 02 shop which is a half hour drive from me. This company has the most outrageous service and the frustration they put their customers through is unbelievable. I asked what would happen if I didn’t pay my bill and they told me it would be sent for debt collection. Over the last month I have spent hours and hours on the phone to them to get the problems sorted but to no avail. I don’t want my credit score to be affected so I have had no choice but to pay the bill and waive goodbye to the compensation for the time when I couldn’t use my phone. I will definitely recommend anyone that think of joining O2 to think again.

Shocking Service

Was with o2 for about 12 years switched to tesco moblie got a better phone saved £20 a month for more data etc no sneaky yearly increase when you use your club card ans o2 wouldn't send me my pac code to keep my number even though they are supposed to so got a new number instead avoid these jokers at all costs.

O2 A Name Synonymous For A Cesspit.

O2 a name synonymous for a cesspit. Due to a recent house move I was forced to move from EE to O2, and my god, I have never in my life experienced such bad, unhelpful and outright useless customer service. We are currently on day 7 without any service. I have been into the o2 store, been on the phone for hours, spoken on live chat, yet 7 days later, no one has an answer to why my phone doesn't work, and quite frankly no one seems to care. Please avoid at all costs, go to EE. The amount of suffering this has caused me in my personal and professional life is worth no sum of money. Go EE, and never look back to O2. What a useless establishment (as you can see from all of the other reviews)

Can at least one of your staff respond to incoming messages, as usual your company seems happy enough to take peoples money, provide a less than medicore service and do nothing another about peoples complaints

A Bad Customer Service And Absolute Joke

please go to Vodafone and other networks as this network is not even worthy of supplying mobile contracts, call centres in India and we live in UK, which is why they cant provide a service

they will credit check on your name over and over and their system is so old that they cant process the order and will again do another credit check absolute Sh t of a service and - customer care

Worst Customer Service In The World

Bought a Wi-Fi router 5 years ago was used once for a company I used to work for. 7 months ago the company went bust so I rang cancelled it and paid it of on my own card thinking I was doing the decent thing. Next month they billed again. Rang up and repeated. Yes sir youve left nothing else for you to do. Next month same again. Went to a store, the first store said they were too busy the 2nd store gave me an appointment for an hour when they found out it was a cancellation they laughed at me and said they had better things to do. Webchat they dont respond after they say theyre going to link you to a manager. If you send them a letter by recorded delivery they do not respond. And email you will get a response saying we will be in touch that never happens. Post about it on Resolver they message saying they will be in touch and never will. Your only hope in cancelling anything with them is the Ombudsman. Dont think in all my 40 years Ive ever been so appalled by a company. Ive recorded the calls and call records but they still dont take any notice. Your only way is to protest in there stores. Its a truly shocking experience. There a bad company and quite how there getting away with it and treating there customers in such a way needs looked into by the police

SENT A FAULTY VR HEADSET BACK TO THEM 8 WEEKS AGO WE HAVE Been phoning twice a week asking about the refund only to be told every time its been processed!!
