Was The Best But Now Worse Than The Rest

Sky mobile and its other services has become unreliable, almost impoosible to contact unless you want dialogue with a recorded option or bot.

Second time in a month the service provider has gone completely down rendering mobile use and broadband non existent.

Contacting the Un-helpful Centre via email only you are treated to template responses to genuine complaints and upon challenging the response more obstructive replies. It would appear Un-helpful centres are now overseas based just like the other poor mobile/internet service providers that are no longer credible

Warning They Give Faulty Handsets

***warning*** do not use sky mobile, they give you faulty handsets that break within 48 due to faulty hardware. Then will thwn charge you for the repair!!!! Awful customer service agents that dont understand english, useless network coverage and very slow internet coverage, from overpriced and useless people! Avoid like the plague!!! absolutely disgusted with the service i am currently receiving. Their foreign call centre staff are absolutely useless and waste so much of your time every time that you call, half the time they don’t even seem to understand the issue you are calling about because of the poor understanding of english. i called apple, apple confirmed that it is indeed skys problem.   i have an iphone xs and all of a sudden out of the blue the face id stopped working. Apple did diagnostics on it and confirmed it’s a hardware problem and that sky should help me and sort it. They are refusing to do so saying it is now out of warranty. Rang apple again and they said to call sky back and say i wanted it giving under the consumer law act. Sky then said that i have a 12 month warranty form apple and a further 12 month given by sky, so they can fix for free. I called sky to sort this out and now they are saying that that isn’t true and are trying to make me pay for the repair and also leave me with no handset to use etc… absolute joke not to mention it is over priced and rubbish network coverage awful & internet

Sky Voicemail Nightmares

Quite simply, Sky are complete amateurs at running a mobile phone network!

You CANNOT remove voicemail from your phone, it's impossible.

Sky impose this on customers to sneakily generate revenue through a call termination fee they make by charging other inward call connect providers who call Sky mobile customers - a dirty little industry trick!

Having called Sky mobile multiple times, they finally said you cannot get rid of voicemail but you can 'stop' people leaving you a message, although they would still get through to a greeting and still be charged...(the sneaky call termination trick).

This isn't what consumers want or expect, either have voicemail, or don't have it - but not with Sky! You will have it forced upon you and your friends who call from overseas, use PAYG phones or have limited minutes will still have to pay and have no control over it.

Having told Sky that we can put man on the moon, that all other networks allow customers the choice to deactivate voicemail and that in fact Sky isn't really a mobile network (they are a virtual network using STILL refuse to cancel their voicemail sham for those who don't want it.

Avoid this company, they're very good at "sales" but a nightmare after you take out a line/phone etc.

Also be careful, their delivery drivers are a private company called DPD who take photos of your passport/ID on their private phones - leaving us wide open to identity theft, crime etc. No data protection is in place and the drivers are self employed and don't use company issued devices to take images of your ID which you should refuse (but let them view it if you agree).
