Avoid!!
Not worth a dime no matter how cheaper their plan is
You'll struggle to get network coverage in several areas and when you call them, all they say is your location 'naturally ' has a low coverage and you'll be stuck with them for a year. Disgusting!
Worst Experience Ever
SIM only plan. Order SIM. Never arrived. Rang up to order new one. Never arrived. Rang to cancel order and contract. About 2 hours of calls in total. 5 months later see I am getting charged still!!! Wow!!! 3 phone calls later and I still haven't received a refund.a refund on a product I cancelled which never ever arrived.its unbelievable!!! So so bad you couldn't believe it. So I could save £3 a month. I regret my choice to go with talkmobile so so much!

Owned by Vodafone but much better customer service. Used a simple one month contract that was very easy to manage and efficiently operated. So many operators give poor service. I found them really easy to deal with. Customer service has been good. The overseas call centre has been much better than my normal experience. Calls have been answered quickly and staff have been intelligent, well-trained, friendly and helpful. I ran the contract with a £0 cap without difficulty.
When I left the PAC code was not easy to get hold of and I think they breached Ofcom rules but I managed to sort it out fairly easily.

Avoid Talkmobile Like The Plague
TalkMobile simply don't deliver on any promises.
Sign up for a new account via a comparison site, was porting my number to a SIM only 30 day deal - what could go wrong?
They failed to deliver the SIM within the 5 working days they promise. Their support blame royal mail and tell you they'll send out guaranteed next day delivery (Royal Mail again). Another 72 hours later the SIM arrives (delivered by DPD).
SIM does not work - "no service". Support can't get it to work (no my phone isn't locked, no the SIM doesn't work in other phones).
My number ported 4 days ago = I've not been able to make or receive calls for 4 days. Their response to the SIM not working = "will escalate to our technical team who will be in touch within 48 hours.....!!!!"
When asking for a PAC to cut my losses and go elsewhere, I am asked to provide 3 forms of ID (photo/utility bill & bank statement) which I have done, but find it amazing they easily provided me with a new account WITHOUT any forms of ID, but to leave I have to jump through hoops???
Oh and I have to wait another 48 hours for the PAC. (Vodafone provided me with the PAC to leave and go to TalkMobile within 15 minutes of requesting it).
Avoid at all costs.

The Worst Company To Deal With
Talkmobile are quite simply dire (although dire means they could improve and that wont happen) Probably the worst company to deal with if you have an issue. Nobody cares. They have a crib sheet of answers, anything else will be your fault or the Royal Mail . . . .or Russia. . . Covid . . . The Queen . . .anything but them. They managed to lose my ported number for 10 days!! 10 days!!. They even sent a verification text to the number that they'd lost and blamed me for not getting it. The call centres are India based, they don't understand anything you are trying to explain. The company is inept, incompetent, totally useless and couldn't organise a party up in a brewery.
If, by some miracle your 24 hour number port (or 10 days in my case) happens and there is an issue, it will involve around 15 hours!! on the webchat or on the phone, after that time time they will do the total opposite of what was asked and probably lose your number again.
DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR NUMBER . . . IN FACT USE ANYONE ELSE.

Took out a pay monthly sim only deal and had to cancel it within the contract period. The 14 day cooling off period had just expired (2 days) but there was no leeway.
My opinion was the contract should have started when i either received the sim card or had my number transferred over, Talkmobile said they start the contract on the order date.
Had to pay a full 12mths worth to leave equalling near £90.

Absolute Shambles
my talk mobile sim card was damaged. given another one from the vodafone shop who deal with talk mobile. They told me to contact them to activate. Tried to do this but for my client who is unable to do himself, they refused to do it. Tried to do this on webchat and they tell me i will have to be sent a new card as the ones from the vodafone shop will not work!!!! Exactly the same card for god sake. You cannot speak to anyone who has good english so are struggling to get them to understand. I am now going to leave this company and go with a proper phone company. You are an absolute shambles talk mobile....

Well we need to remember that the service we get is are all individuals and not the company. Companies processing are perfect. I had the best experience taking out another contract with talk mobile today. The guy put up with me doing his head. Wasn't happy about how many questions I had to answer to actually be able to speak. He stayed calm and patient with me, I ended the conversation laughing. My own family can't calm me. Looking back he was 100% in the right. I'm happy to know no one will ever be able to access my account. True gent and an assist to the company. Thanks allow talk mobile. Crazy Company-please Avoid!!!!
My 24 month experience with this company is hell, they reap you off and when its time to cancel the contract, I gave a 30 days notice on the 1st of April and was told my final bill was £8, on 2 of May they took £10 and claim my contract is still on-going, Please avoid this crazy company, Vodafone should do something about this crazy company and their crazy service

Can't Get Through To Cancel!
Have been trying for 3 days to make contact with this shockingly poor service provider. The web chat feature is non-existent and no-one (literally no-one) answers their help line - avoid at all costs.
