I placed an order with Amazon, something I do on a regular basis, and was surprised to receive a message informing me of exactly when my item would arrive, i.e. the time (a two hour slot) and the date. I received a further phone call on the day telling me that the package was on its way and would be with me within half an hour which it was. The two gentlemen who delivered could not have been more polite or friendly. So many delivery companies knock and run and rarely arrive when they say they are going to. I've read some terrible review on this company but it certainly wasn't my experience. Thank you HDNL!

I ordered a 10kg bag of cat food as, starting tomorrow, I am working 12 hour shifts over the bank holiday weekend and won't be able to get to the shops. I paid £8.00 for the delivery and waited in for the package today as arranged. They deliver between 8am and 9pm so when my package hadn't arrived by 8.30pm I contacted Amazon as there are no details for HDNL on the site. I was advised that the driver had been and left a card because no one was in. This is a lie, No one came, no one knocked, no one used the doorbell and there is no card. I checked my letter box, my porch, outside my porch, my driveway and I checked with my neighbours. No card was left as no delivery driver came. It is only when I searched for HDNL online that I realised the company is yodel. So I called yodel, but their customer service centre closes at 9pm. The only option was to reschedule the delivery but as the last parcel I recieved (12L cat litter) was slung through my porch window which is 7ft up and landed on my plant pots, (courtesy of Royal Mail delivery) I don't hold much hope for a trouble free delivery, and if the delivery driver decides they can't be bothered to deliver my parcel again I won't know about it until I get in from work which will be after 9pm tomorrow and the customer service centre will be closed again.

I bought a bed from carpet right told delivery 3-5 weeks ,10 days later got a text from these waste of spaces to confirm delivery 2 days later , so rang them to make sure the time scale was right as we WORK,,,, was told they couldn't rely on it but would try ( joke), day after and this is the day before delivery received another text time for delivery was between 10am n 1pm the exact times we were not in , to cut a long story short dont EVER use them there customer services are diabolical, they leave an answer phone message on when closed stating they are open 9am - 5pm so why then do they still not answer phone at 9-15 and the answer phone is still on , and to top it all off when you do manage to speak to 1 of them they talk to you like something on the bottom of their shoe !!!!! THINK THEY NEED TO GO LEARN SOME PEOPLE SKILLS and to remember its people like me paying their wages , would never ever use this slack setup company again , oh and by the way because of your disgusting people skills I have no bed to sleep on tonight not that it would bother you because you do not care a damn , DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!

These idiots claim to have tried to deliver a parcel to my house today, stating no access to property as the reason for not delivering!
My front door exits straight out on to the pavement, no front garden, no locked gate. The contact centre is a waste of time. They claim the driver scanned the parcel outside my house at 10:30. At 10:30, I was outside my house in the street, so I know this is not true. If I had a choice in who I had parcels delivered by, this bunch of idiots would not even get on the list. I would rather walk the length and breadth of the country myself, than have them in the process!
I would not have ordered from the shop, had I of known they would use yodel as their delivery provider. Complaints have been lodged.

Package Missing/rude Customer Service
Ive ordered a package from Amazon - the day before the delivery Ive called HDNL customer service to agree a suitable time. First the lady couldn't find either my package/my address/my post code/my name. Nothing!After 15 minutes on the phone she finally found it and confirmed delivery on the following day in the morning. Ive called HDNL in the morning as delivery didn't happen and a guy answered the phone and again he couldn't find my package/my address/tracking number (while on their web site it was working) and told me there was no delivery for me! When I complained about the service he said the line was bad and hung up!
Then I called Amazon to complain about their carrier and HDNL told Amazon they attempted delivery the day before which is not true and they didn't leave any note. They are clearly liars, unprofessionals, I still didn't get my package and I don't know if I will. I can't believe Amazon chose them as couriers for their deliveries. TO AVOID!!

Avoid Like The Plague
I ordered a phone through an online dealer not realizing the express (the next option I was given above the standard Free 2 - 4 day delivery) delivery service I paid for was HDNL. If I had know this I would of totally avoided or conttaced the company to find out if there were other more expensive but reliable delivery options. Their tracking system is total junk as I have been seeing the same message "Order Generated" for more than 24 hrs and to be honest this doesn't mean a thing to me. Has it been collected ? Is it sat waiting for collection ? If its collected where in their system is it. And the 1 - 2 days delivery schedule you pay for will always be the latter an the good will never arrive at the earliest stated time. Or at least this has ALWAYS been my experience when waiting for anything they deliver.
From now on I will endevour to find out which courier any online retailer I purchase things from use before buying and find out if there are other options available as this company just sucks big time !

Tuesday morning the parcel was delivered by a cheerful delivery man.
Cant fault this service well done all concerned.

Delivery driver is a liar, I was in all day waiting.
Now had to re-schedule....
Same here. Saw a new driver 2 days later told me the driver failed to turn up so the van didn't go out!
