5 Days For A Next Day Delivery, Don’t Bothet

Spent nearly £14.00 for a next day delivery on Thursday.was told it had been delayed by the recipient, not me, at 1900 on Friday. contacted their “customer services” dept and got some muppet on remote chat saying an emergency or adverse weather had delayed the delivery. It was going from Southend to Lowestoft, 2 hrs by car, during the best weather we have had on record..... have been told it won’t be there till Tuesday at the earliest, 5 DAYS!!!! I could have walked there and back in this time. No chance of a refund apparently as none of their delivery times are actually guaranteed, don’t waste your money, they seem cheaper but if you actually need something to arrive on time, pay the extra and use GUARANTEED delivery via Royal Mail. Waste of money, DO NOT USE

Don't Use These Guys

Don't use these guys. Hopeless in so many ways - where do I start. Well if there was a zero star option i would use it. I ordered a 'next day' service, the price was reasonable. This was 10am Friday, for a Saturday delivery. I was charged an extra £1 above the quote for delivery to a residential address, which it wasn't but there was no way of getting round this. I waited for collection but nothing happened. 'Customer Service' finished at 5pm! Although 'Live Chat' was supposed to be available until 9pm the button to press did not appear on the web page. Sent an email and did get a reply on the Saturday. Apparently apart from the fact the parcel wasn't collected anyway, 'next day delivery' doesn't include Saturday as it's actually 'next working day' although this isn't mentioned anywhere on the quote page or if you click 'more information' to find out what you're buying. I still needed the parcel sending so agreed to a Monday collection. On Wednesday lunchtime, five days after I ordered a next day service, the parcel was still sitting here. My girlfriend had to drive 185 miles to deliver it. 'Customer Service' said they were sorry, but frankly that's not good enough. Don't use these guys.

Parcel could not be delivered to my customer so return to sender

was not returned to sender was retuned to there depot ?? why i dont know and was nt answered

i asked if i could collect the parcel in person answer was "no only courier persons could collect my parcel"

so had to spend more money to receive my parcel and have it delivered to the real return address

on delivery the parcel was damaged unable to resell

please note the parcel has now been in the hands of myparceldelivery for over 2 weeks by this point

i had parcel 2 go collect and deliver my parcel again parcel was damaged

i noted the damage had the driver sign a note stating damage had already happened when collected from myparceldelivery

collection and delivery using parcel 2 go took only 1 day

i tried to open an insurance claim with myparceldelivery they said they cant help because parcel 2 go were the last to touch the parcel with no evidence parcel was in good condition

so returned to depot so can charge extra postage costs

damaged the goods so cant be resold

and then push the blame to others when clearly down to them

I would advice anyone thinking of using MYPARCELDELIVERY to stay away over priced and all that you pay for is not want it seems

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Do Not Use

Atrocious service. We were given incorrect information on pick-up times and had to cancel the order. We have a constant receptionist and they say they have to levy a failed collection charge as no one was here at 11.30 am! This was our first attempt to use them and we spend thousands on couriers. Very short-sighted and if this is the way they quibble over a few pounds then that's their loss. The fact there's no telephone number on their website speaks for itself.

Worst Delivery Ever

Sadly I have to write a really bad review which i hate doing. A delivery was booked for collection on 28th Jan 2016.

1. They turned up on the wrong day to the wrong house.

2. I called to sort this out and they turned up a second time, again to the wrong house and the occupant had to point them to the correct house.

3. No text messages were received to say parcel collected etc.

4. The parcel did not arrive on due date in Spain.

5. Chasing the parcel was a nightmare and has taken months, we were given the run around and it has cost a fortune in phone calls, including calling a number they gave us in Spain where the parcel was supposed to be. They had never heard of it!

6. Excuses were made from incorrect address to it is the delivery company not us. The delivery company, quite rightly pointed out that our contract was with My parcel delivery. Nobody wanted to know.

7. The recipient in Spain was NEVER contacted despite My Parcel Delivery saying they would contact her.

8. There were really bad at responding to emails or returning calls as promised.

9. Eventually the parcel arrived back in England and back to original senders address and was in a really bad condition, damage and ripped open with dozens of stickers all over it. This eventual return of parcel was just over 10 weeks from when it has left us and it had travelled all over from what we could ascertain.

10. The company refused to re-send the parcel so we had to accept its return, despite its terrible condition.

11. We had to fight to get a refund, which eventually got paid in two parts and NO compensation of any kind has been offered despite our requesting of it.

Overall this has been a horrible experience which went on for two and half months. I was sending this parcel on behalf of my neighbours who are in their 80's and did not need this stressful experience.

Personally i would steer clear of My Parcel Delivery. Not just because they were unsuccessful at delivering the parcel, but because when problems occur they pass you off to pillar and post and do not care at all. They certainly did not care that the parcel is ripped open damaged and in a terrible state or that this situation has caused a great amount of stress for my neighbours. They were rude on the phone at times, extremely dismissive and uninterested and they NEVER kept their promises.

Whilst I totally accept that sometimes things can go wrong, i do not accept that they should deal with these problems in such a bad, unprofessional way.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS - I KNOW I WILL

I Wish You Could Award Minus Stars Or Even No Stars!

I have never dealt with such a shower of incompetents! Arranged a collection for a next day delivery - from an office - someone waited until 8pm and no collection. UPS told MPD that they had attempted to collect and there was no answer - what a bunch of lying *****! Someone at the address from 8am until 8pm and no attempt made. Collection was specifically arranged for that date with delivery - next day - specifically arranged and someone had taken a day off work - unpaid - to be there for delivery. Told that a 'second' attempt would be made but that was inconvenient - this is where the non-existent customer service comes in - no attempt to rectify their mistake only - collection will be between 11 and 4pm! Not helpful to me when they have been told no one would be available from 11.30 until 4.30!! Then to add insult to injury told that they wouldn't action a refund for 5 working days because '5 working days is our policy'. Do not use MPD - they have now lost quite a large work contract through this - it's just not worth the hassle!!!

Worst Experience Ever

I initially requested a next day service, 1 week later my item was collected by UPS. During this period I found the staff at My Parcel Delivery to be most unhelpful, I found their constant apologies and complete unwillingness to assist frustrating. When the parcel did arrive with my customer it was damaged and still no help from the staff at My Parcel Delivery.

I would not use or reccomend this company for any service.

Dont Collect Parcel Within Time Requested

A myparceldelivery.com collection was arranged by a purchaser of some motorcycle parts I had sold him. He booked a collection from my address for a stated day with instructions that the parcel was not collected before 11am. The courier came at 9.30am whilst I was out so collection had to be rebooked again. I had to wait in ALL day.

I asked why they could not contact the courier to asked him/she to call back later, but they would not do that. So this has delayed the goods getting to the buyer.

I do not recommend myparceldelvery.com, & would not use them myself.

Poor Service And Rely On Their Unfair Terms

I used this company for some online items sold on ebay. They lost my parcel so I submitted a claim. They then found it some weeks later but did not advise me. I then chased the refund to be told it was found but when I contacted the buyer some 3 months later that it had been damaged. They refused to refund the cost of my parcel which was £23.00. They rely on their unfair terms which says they are not responsible in any way. However, we book their service and they should be responsible. They can't hide behind unfair terms. I am now taking them to the small claims court.

Warning To All Auction Site Sellers

this company must be the worst one around i sell and buy a lot from a well known auction site.I sold an item and paid £30+ for 24hour delivery, however this did not happen and they i felt they couldnt care less or my feedback. i have since spocken to number of sellers & buyers who also confirm problems.  if you value your feedback dont use myparcel
