Awful Service.

Told my parcel had been delivered on Monday but wasn't they delivered to the wrong address. They retrieved the parcel and instead of delivering it took it back to their depothe and left it there. Didn't bother delivering as it had been marked as delivered. They promised to deliver Wednesday on a previous 12 service. 1.30 I called them as it hadn't arrived....still but they proceeded to put the phone down on me and then not pick up again. Eventually I got through and asked to speak to a manager that was plain rude and basically said you just have to accept it an's it'll be there soon. The most ppalling service I have received from any company ever. I thought Hermes were bad but they look great compared to these idots.

If This Is The Same Company That Have Changed Thei

If this is the same company that have changed their name to DPD then I have just had my first experience with them, courtesy of Lush, and have to say I was impressed. I have been living in a new, gated flat for 5 months and on the previous 10+ occasions I have dealt with different couriers, everyone of them has ended in disaster (usually with HDNL) but also Parcelforce. They usually lie and claim they have attempted delivery, claim they have put cards through the door, claim they couldnt gain access to property (without even buzzing me in the flat), claim my address doesn't exist etc and the parcels often end up being returned to supplier because the couriers do not re-attempt delivery despite promising they will.

Well anyway. I was left shocked when I got a buzz at my flat to say 'DPD courier here with a parcel for you'. I then went out and received my parcel! First time I've ever had a courier who just gets on with things and actually delivers parcels! And it turned up within the 24 hours promised too!

They are a welcome relief.

When The Driver Has Had Enough He Will Mark Your P

When the driver has had enough he will mark your package as unable to deliver and sod off home

The one hr delivery window shown on the tracking service bears no resemblance to real life

despite waiting in from 3.30pm to 7.30pm for a 5 pm delivery watching our drive like a hawk

the next message to apper on the tracking site was Unable to deliver as no one at home

Ineficiant and liars to boot

Drinking party's and brewerys spring to mind

If God spares me, I will be 80 in May, I have severe arthritis in my left hip, and need to be active or it gets very painful. Sitting around all day with little activity is terrible. It is doubly annoying not being able to access their website.

Polite Telephone Operators. Firstly My Parcel Was

Polite telephone operators. Firstly my parcel was supposed to arrive yesturday so I had the day off to ensure I was in to recieve it, come 7pm I checked the online tracking to see that the status read: "unable to deliver, slip left" or words to that effect. I know this isn't true because I was in all day and there is no notification slip in my post box. When I rang up the operator told me that perhaps the driver couldn't find my house. I don't live in a remote location, and UPS had managed to deliver an identical parcel the same day with no issues. I was told that Saturday delivery was not an option as it cost extra, so I was faced with having another day off or the parcel would be sent back to the sender. I arranged for it to be re-delivered on wednesday but later on today (saturday) I was on my way down to London so I would be passing the depot, so I rang to arrange for me to collect it but was told that for security reasons the parcel was locked away on a van for the weekend. Not impressed with their "next day" service at all.

It Took Them Two Full Weeks To Not Even Attempt To

It took them two full weeks to not even attempt to deliver my parcel (I live 30 miles from the depot), send it to somewhere over 60 miles away with an address that bears no resemblance to mine, then the company they delivered it to lost it completely. Atrocious service all round, don't even consider using them.

I Have Never Experienced Such A Service. I Am Wait

I have never experienced such a service. I am waiting for my delivery from Vodafone and, to be fair, VF did not put my flat number on the address. So the parcel could not be delivered but I only found out researching myself on the website.

So I called them up and asked for redelivery to my work address. No problem if VF agrees. So called VF, they arranged for it.

Next morning I called Parcelline and asked if re-delivery was to the work address and they said it would be. When it did not arrive I called and they said that they delivered it to my home address again.

So why did I bother checking with them??

Annoyed I agreed for redelivery by 12 pm today - as there was no sign of my parcel I called them again and they said the parcel got lost. What now? Why did no one call me?

Will I ever see my parcel??

Absolutely awful service, you cant speak to a human. A completely unsatisfactory service, makes promises to deliver on one day and then doesn't the day I request or the day after, I would go with city link (Y)

Parcel To Be Delivered On A Friday-- It Had Alread

Parcel to be delivered on a Friday-- it had already arrived at local depot on the Thursday. Checked by phone on delivery day they said it was "in the area" . Never arrived. Phoned four times on Saturday they said local depot closed. At fifth attempt turned out local depot open after all. Said they would have parcel out that morning. No sign. Rang pm Parcel line had closed for Bank Holiday. Number of driver they had given me didn't work.
