Builders Beware Of This Company

BUILDERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

GO TO NHBC OR BUILDZONE . ONCE PREMIER GUARANTEE GET YOUR MONEY YOU GOT NO CHANCE IF GETTING IT BACK.

THEY OWE ME 2 PAYMENTS TOTALLING APPROX £1600 AND HAVE MADE EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO PAY!!!

I USED THEM ON TWO BUILD PROJECTS.. NEVER AGAIN

Rubbish Guarantee

Our new build developer pushed PG to us, we paid 3.5k and we,ve had water ingress over 9 years of moving in! Not only has the builder ignored emails over the years but PG wanted £1800 11months ago to raise an email to the builder and stated they would NOT expect them to be the party to come back and solve the ingress.

Sitting here tonight the waters in again after hubby did so much maintenance over Summer months. So worn out with no resolve ....reading others stories helps in some odd way but wish we All didn't get companies who should be legislated better!!!

Mother Treated So Badly It Lead To So Much Pain And Suffring

my husband put leglitimate claim they rejected him then i put the claim in that was rejected my son put the same claim in rejected then we find out we had a lawful claim by the f,o,c it came to late iam disabled and my husband is not with me now what they have done to me is unforgivable .look this up .look this up in / sun news paper father has an heart-attack in nightmare new build .

I would not recommend this insurer under any circumstances made claim for 3rd party deception and developer deception they provided no completion certificate and 9 years later the building still not fixed. My warranty was a fake due a back to back transaction. Ask for simply copy of policy and conditions refused by liberty the underwriter and advised mdis sacked but no reason given. This company will only settle claims if you have legal means.

Please ensure to try and avoid one of these nasty policies and check the completion certificate is fully in place.

My msp is currently helping with this matter.

Self Builders Nightmare!

If you are a self builder dont make the mistake i did in using Premier for guarantee and building control. They are slow, impersonal and have cost me thousands extra whilst digging footings by delaying the builder, then requesting ridiculous trench specifications that were based on misguided data. My builder says he has never worked with such a difficult company! They also sent me a design review report 3 months into the project stating that anything i'd started couldn't be guaranteed unless it met there their criteria (the report is intended to be carried out prior to works starting!)

Unscrupulous, Dishonest, Slow

I have Premier Guarantee Warranty for Social Housing. After starting a claim, they assigned their conciliation team to the case without asking my permission. The conciliation team then took a year to get to the point of even sending a surveyor to assess the claim.

The recommendations of the surveyor were then ignored by the conciliation team because they did not suit the developer. Almost 2 years after the claim started they have now made a series of unsubstantiated determinations about the claim. They refuse to provide supporting evidence, simply stating "we have looked at the facts" in response to any request for documentation.

Policy Worthless- Avoid At All Cost

I bought a new home from the developer Excelsior in 2013 who claimed to have won "best small development" from Premier Guarantee (later I found out that this was a lie). The house had numerous serious faults which Premier Guarantee failed to resolve despite clear terms in the policy that they were obliged to do so. Needless to say the developer was awful as well. It has taken 4 years of legal wrangling, stress, time and my money to have the problems rectified. Premier Guarantee have been found to be at fault 3 out 3 times by the Ombudsman yet despite this fail to acknowledge they have done anything wrong. It is unbelievable that these companies can function without strong regulation and scant concern for their customers. I would urge anyone who has a problem with this company to refer them to the Ombudsman- the Ombudsman is helpful and and easy process to follow. Maybe if enough complaints are made this company may take notice of its customers.

Changed Terms And Cancelled The Contract

As a self builder I took out a warranty with Premier. Part way through they changed the terms, cancelled the policy and refused to give me a full refund and would not discuss the situation. They are regulated by the Finanical Ombudsman - a lengthy complaint to the Ombudman resulted in a full refund, compensation, interest on the funds held and payment of additonal funds to enable an alternative warranty to be taken out. If you have problems with their product - an insurance product so a finanical service - consider the Ombudsman as their decision is final and binding.

Complete Joke Of A Company. Avoid At All Costs!!

Made a complaint and claim in February about the issues we are having with our builder (Ogilvie Homes) Strung us along for 4 months then sent an email saying its nothing to do with with them for the first 2 years. Absolute disgrace and they are being reported to there ombudsman.

I have a dispute with my new home’s builder and the Consumer Code for Home Builders secretariat advised me to apply for the Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme through our new home’s warranty provider, Premier Guarantee. But I couldn't locate the email or the proper contact in this company's website. May you please help me if you can locate the proper email contact?

I am really worry on this matter because I found no way to seek for an independent adjudication under the oppression of the home builder.
