Loved my course, I felt help was there when I needed it however sometimes I found myself waiting for a reply for days, sometimes more than a week, which was the only downfall. I'll definitely be back to do more courses as I like being able to learn around my full time job and life, without the stress of deadlines, or feeling like I'm constantly being watched. Each module had something new, some more challenging than others, but most were physical experiments to which I loved. I'd have liked to know more about if I'd need laptop with a particular software before starting the course as I had to go buy a laptop unaware that it would be needed for the course, I also had to download a few applications and software to run editing programmes rams for my course. I was then told about a better editing software half way through my course however I couldn't afford to go out buying more items to finish the course when the only thing originally stated which was needed was a camera. Otherwise brilliant course, I can't wait to see where it takes me in the future!

This course was a great experience for me and everything is well organised and easy to understand. The tutor was very helpful,responsive and friendly. I had a year to complete the course but even going at a slow pace i managed to finish in less than that. I enjoyed every part of the course and i learned so much without the need to travel or participate in any face to face classes , just from the comfort of my own home. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn a new skill but need to keep a full time job while doing it.

I took the photography course. I took it as I'm an amateur wanting to learn more. The course stretched me to learn as I was completing each assignment. The tutors remarks after each assignment was not only helpful but the advice was an extra bonus. Pleased I did it.

The way it was done was dead easy, submitting each section by email made it all so simple. The response from my tutor after each assignment was brilliant. Could highly recommend taking this course.

I would recommend anyone to do this course and use distance learning, i fouund it a lot easier by not having to go back out of the house of a night to go to college.

I have found parts of the course challenging but with the help and support frol my tutor i have managed to overcome my challenge and complete all my assignments.

I would never of thought i would of gone back to do another course but im so glad i did and have now got another qualification on my cv.

Thoroughly enjoyed photography course. Took it purely to learn and develop my skills in a structured fashion and it certainly did that. Tutor was excellent. Supportive, and constructive in feedback, which was always prompt. Assignments progressively more challenging. Course well designed and written. Have done other courses personally and professionally in my own field and this one certainly stacks up well. For me, hardest part was completing course as family illness got in the way. When I was ready to discontinue, tutor gave me motivation and encouragement to complete it. So glad I did.

Now feel more confident and keen to continue to progress.

Found the preclude information satisfactory and registration straight forward. Pack sent very promptly. Tutor in touch very quickly. An estimate of potential time commitment per week or per month might have been helpful but I probably would have taken the course regardless.

This was a great course for me as a self taught photographer this took me back to basics and I learned camera settings, skills and Photoshop properly and the assignments pushed my skills and knowledge. I now feel quite confident with both taking pictures and editing. The communication between me and my tutor was an easy process and any questions and marked work was always dealt with within a few days. I am now confident to take my small photography business further.

Really good course, its nice you can take your time on the assignments. Good value for money. Its good you can spread the costs over a chioce of years.

The assignments are really inreresting.Good feedback from the tutor and also good support from thr tutors too.

Its good you have the option for an extention. Sometimes life gets in the way of things and you have to pause what your doing.

Overall, excellent course highly recomeded.

I did the photography course and I really enjoyed learning how to take beautiful photographs something I have wanted to do for a long time I finally had the chance to do it. The course gave me all the tools that I needed to complete the course, and to do it at my own pace helped me a lot. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this course because all was helpful and gave me all I need to continue with my Photography and has given me options for the future. The assignments I enjoyed the most were I could go out and use my camera, my favourite was the final assignment where I could choose my own subjects. I would definitely recommend this course to other people wanting to learn more about photography I found it a good course to start your photography journey. My tutor was there when I need him and he gave me some great advice and feedback for my assignments and when I didn't quite achieve the assignment requirements he encouraged me to try again.

My tutor was very helpful whenever I came with a problem. They were very understanding about the time pressures of studying and working and the loss of my laptop part way through my course. The dedication made to assist those who are trying to complete the course is great you always feel like you have someone you can turn too when you come across a hurdle with your work. The only negative would be that it would have been great to be able to talk on the phone as occasionally email correspondence can become a little annoying when you have to wait for a response. But overall the course was great and informative and a cant wait to start my small business.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Although the support pack provided plenty of information, additional reading and independent research was encouraged. Each assignment was challenging enough to keep me engaged in the course. This course helped me to learn about how to manage and resolve conflict, how to effectively supervise staff and touched on topics such as health and safety and human resources. I found all of the units relevant to the modern day workplace and they also provided a good foundation to move onto a higher level if I want to. The tutor was very responsive meaning I felt supported throughout the course. All feedback was constructive which helped me develop strong assignments.
