Prolectrix Mini Kitchen Deep Fat Fryer

Just to counter the other review on this site. I obtained a second hand Prolectrix mini fryer FOC and find it a brilliant little fryer, and manage to use it without having the instruction booklet. Easy peasy lemon squeeze! Fantastic for frying homemade scotch eggs and individual portions of chips etc. It,s small size means it doesn't take up valuable cupboard or counter space.

Seven months of use and my Prolectrix Mini Kitchen Deep Fat Fryer element exploded, catching the fat on fire along with the plastic base, luckily it went out as it was on a stone surface.

I did like it as it was fast to make a single batch of chips for one person approx 8 minutes and got it for safety over frying on a gas stove; mis-judged that one!

Somehow the safety was not a good feature, will get a better designed one next time.
