I Am So Happy With My Oven And Have Had No Issues
I am so happy with my oven and have had no issues with it apart from the oven seal breaking, but I ordered a new one direct from Britannia and it arrived 2 days later which in my book is superb service.
I am glad I listened to the Lady in the shop about the Cheftop I use it so often for Grilling and have even tried a stirfry on it!!!!
I personally have no regrets about buying this cooker.

Well, The Britannia Si10tcclsc Freestanding Over L
Well, the Britannia SI10TCCLSC freestanding over looked nice in the shop, and it does basically work (or did until the fan oven element died). BUT the small oven is pointlessly small. I should have got the single large option. Britannia service is mis-named. 10 days and I am still waiting for a visit so I can be relieved of 100 pounds. They don't have spare fan oven elements in stock (now why would they want to be carrying stock of that item then?!) So we wait .. and wait .. They blame the supplier, of course. They never call back from the call centre (although to give the local service guy credit, he DID call me - kudos to him!) Hope they're not doing an Unwins. I would never buy another though!!

The Britannia Si10tcclsc Freestanding Oven Has Bee
The Britannia SI10TCCLSC freestanding oven has been a major disappointment! Neither the ovens or the burners perform as well as a much cheaper, basic cooker. It is really hard to clean and the burners frequently fail to light, except, unfortunately, when my young daughter tried, with the result that we had a bad house fire. The fire officer was appalled and contacted Britannia, to no effect. Getting the cooker repaired was a nightmare - the service from Britannia was inefficient and expensive (£85 for a visit just to assess the damage, then another £85 to come out and fix it!). After a long saga I was left without a cooker for Christmas. The cooker hood was just as bad. That has now broken too and I can't get it fixed.
