DeLonghi EC820

Been using this little life saver for the past 9 months, makes great coffee and is easy to clean

I have been using the DeLonghi EC820 for just over a year now and am extremely happy with it. Superb value at under £200. Very easy to maintain and I get superb results with it pretty much all the time.

It does need to be descaled every few months, but I think all such machines need that.

Only shortcoming is that you have to feed it with ground coffee (or the dreaded pods) - i.e. it does not have a built in burr. I subsequently got around this limitation by splashing out an additional £30-£40 for a Krupps Burr grinder, which i shall review separately and/but is an excellent solution for this product.
