Magimix M150 Nespresso Manual

I use this Magimix M150 Nespresso Manual machine regularly for making both espressos and americano-style coffees, although this is just an espresso topped up with hot water from my kettle. Using the Nespresso capsules makes a delicious coffee, although I would agree with other reviews that the water does not stay at a hot temperature for long enough to make anything other than an espresso.

It is very convenient as you just throw the capsule away after making each cup and the coffee is always of a very high standard and available in a range of different varieties. I would say the coffee I have from this machine is as good as any that I buy in coffee shops such as Starbuck's, Pret a manger, etc.

Looks good, maintains its looks with easily cleaned chrome and Black plastic. The chrome milk foamer is removal too. Easy to fill with water, if there is one criticism, it is that over time, the metal connector that the capsule rod connects to loosens, this needs a black plastic tool (that looks like a pastry cutter and that is provided) to tighten, this can cause a leak if not noticed in the early throes of a coffee. Have had the Magimix for nearly 4 years and would recommend for a reasonable price if you are prepared to pay for good coffee via the expensive capsules route.

Nespresso is a great concept, which I would give a 10/10, but I wouldn't neccessarily recommend this particular machine

Magimix M150 as I think there are better models on the market, albiet rather more expensive. However, the coffee is consistently of a high standard. My reservations with this particular machine are that making a capuccino/ latte is a cumbersome process and the time it takes to make a longer coffee (Americano style) due to the short time that the correct water temperature is maintained.

I've had this Magimix M150 Nespresso machine for a year now and am very impressed. I think I prefer the manual machines because I can totally control the amount of water for larger cappucinos. It took a few goes to get the art of frothing just right, but now thats mastered I genuinely prefer my own coffees to any coffe shop.

The Magimix M150 Nespresso Manual is superb, not only does it look fantastic nestled in the highest of high tech, the ease of use and perfect results are likely to knock your socks off. Get ready to impress!

Overall - this manual Magimix M150 Nespresso machine is the simplest way to get really good coffee, at a reasonable cost.

My next machine will be fully automatic - avoiding the recurring overflowing cup problem.
