Sodastream Drinks Maker

Not impressed with this at all. Worked great for the first few months then just stopped. Thought maybe it was the bottles as I get them from Walmart here in Canada and maybe they were not filling them right or something. Not the case, the machine just refuses to carbonate even with a brand new sodastream carbonation bottle. I like the idea of not having to plug it in but really what a hunk of junk that can't even last a few months. Considering going to another companies brand which has more favourable use reviews.

I am new to Sodastream and placed an order for the unit. Shortly after I placed an order for some flavours. I received the unit but low and behold 12 days after I placed the order for the flavours and it is still shows as processing. For a first time user I am appalled that something so simple can take so long. Sent an email for an explanation, but will not expect much back. A company that is happy to take your money but not provide the goods...I believe there is a name for that type of behaviour.

Bought Sodastream for my husband for his birthday. It worked good for about three months and then it stopped carbonating. Thought maybe the canister ran out, so I changed the canister and when I tried it, it didn't work at all. I don't like it because it stopped working after having it for a short time. What I liked about it is that we didn't have to buy pop all the time. Also, I liked using the carbonated water in PowerAde or apple juice because I like some fizzy once in awhile. I should have done more research before buying it.

thousand of co2 containers are refilled and reshipped out to retailers. How many households are they in, how many diseases are on these containers? HIV, hepatitis, meningitis, flu, germs. the containers are not cleaned before they arrive at a retailer. How many hands have touched that container before you? what can you contract from touching it? did you ever think of that? where is the FDA for this? If the co2 is supposed to be food grade what controls are out there for sterile containers of that? what can you catch, who touched it last , how many touched it before you, where did it come from, if you buy a bottle of soda , once it is used you throw it out, limited germs, when you buy co2 it could have been in 100 homes before you, it could have been touched by a thousand people, and yet was it ever cleaned or sterilized externally ? NOPE. did you ever? will you buy this now? how are you effecting your household? yourself,your spouse, your children?

I have had a SodaStream for the last eighteen months or so. For the first year or so it was a pleasure. However in recent monthes the taste has gone bad. I have changed syrups, changed co2. Even gone so far as to buy a new bottle for the machine. Despite these changes the soda produced by my Sodastream has developed a strong foul chemical taste. Until you can fix this problem I will not be using my machine.

Very disappointed with the new bottles, costs the same but you get less product. It appears that the items are priced controlled as I have looked weekly and never see the syrup on sale. It does not seem cost effective. I have written the company and did not receive a response.

I was pleased enough to purchase the machine 3 days before payday and spend my last. I don't regret it at all... Thanks for making such a great product for Soda Drinkers such as my family!

Some flavors do seem to be a little off but that is what you have to expect you are buying Cola not Coca Cola or Pepsi. To me it taste like real Cola, so I like it. The Mount Dew version I wasn't impressed with but I haven't had a mount dew knock off that even comes close to the real mount dew, so no biggie. The price I don't care about, its drinkable. The flavor isn't horrible and here is the best part...... it's healthier than normal soda! I weigh 300lbs, I don't eat a lot but I drink tons of soda and it's called empty calories. This soda is healthier and glad to say it is helping me loose weight. Thanks sodastream.

not enough carbonation. The mango energy is amazing. but most of the other flavors ive tried taste like flat diet soda.

None of the stores in my area have the CO2 replacement canisters, I have been to Bi-Mart, Fred Meyers, Staples, kohl's, and Wal-Mart they all say they have not received a shipment in weeks. WHY ????

I wasted $100. for the soda stream plus $50.00 on different soda flavors that I can no longer use because I can not buy the CO2. I want my money BACK!!!!!!
