Good One!!

The ice maker cube tray holds the water that comes from the ice maker during the process of it becoming ice. This part is white in color and made of plastic. These coils will convert the heat into cool air

Can Be Better

The fridge looks very nice, but it has many defaults. It worked properly only for 4 months and then it started showing issues and easily breaks.

Broken

Right after we bought this is quit working. Called Lowes told me to unplug then replug unit. This worked but what if we weren't home? Soon after the drawers and shelves on the doors started breaking. Just broke the last one yesterday now we have a fridge with no door shelves and wouldn't you guess it the shelves have been discontinued. Ice maker quit working after about 6 months.

Never never never buy Samsung!!!!'!!

SamsungRe-call

Samsung Refrigerator Is Service Company's Payday!

We bought our Samsung Frig for Christmas 2008. March 2009, 15 months old Frig goes out. Call Samsung, they give top 2 rep's phone number's. Call 1st on list, Mr. Appliance. Mr. Appliance tells us control board is bad & not under warrenty. Mr. Appliance changes board charges $376 dollars. Next day Frig still not cold. Mr. Appliance says compressor is bad & they do not have equipment to fix. Then we call 2nd on rep list Turner Appliance. Turner fix's frig & it is under warrenty. To make a long story short we have had service tech's out on 6 different occations having to pay service calls for 3 visits all over $200 dollars. The evaperator fan has gone out 2 x's, compressor replaced, and a part that we had to wait 3 weeks for Samsung to re-release part, because Samsung was re-working part due to amount of consumer problems! Sounds like it is time for a re-call Samsung! To this day I still have to take apart & defrost coils everyother week! All frig clearance requierments are above & beyond. Samsung Refrigerator is a bad deal! We are saving money to replace Samsung because it is cheaper than trying to get that re-call nightmare to work!

Stylish Fridge

The Samsung RS265LBBP is a stylish looking fridge. It has easy control settings which help in adjusting the temperature. Additionally it also has a new style of door freezer on the bottom which looks really cool. We had purchased it in May 2010 and till now we haven’t had any kind of problems.

Has Both Negatives And Positives

The Samsung RS265LBBP is very good looking and it is also very spacious. I brought the grey coloured one and it really complements my kitchen look. However negatives are that it doesn't have a smooth finish and is really pricey. Plus it isn't metal.

My Fridge

Not a horrid fridge. The other reviewers make some great points. Overall it was good value for me and I have no major complaints, but maybe i got lucky.

The Samsung Rs265lbbp Is A Great Looking Fridge.

The Samsung RS265LBBP is a great looking fridge. It has easy to use temperature control settings and the new style of droor freezer on the bottom. We've had ours over a year now and have had no problems at all. I like that I can easily pull out the shelves and stick them in the dishwasher if there is a spill or anything like that.

If there was anything I'd want added it was the Samsung app to keep track of the freshness of food in the fridge, but the ones with the LCD screens cost another $1500. I don't think it's quite worth it for the money. Also, I'd want the filter for the water service to be easier to reach. I had no idea it needed changing until I thought of it on my own.

I Could Go On About The Poor Performance For Days.

I could go on about the poor performance for days. Testing, using accurate temperature instruments, replacing parts (fans, temp sensors, etc), nothing fixed this fridge. I realized I was far from alone when I searched the web for info on other similar complaints. Save yourself the hassle, even with an extended warranty, DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR.

i Have To Agree, I have had more problems with mine since warrenty went, it keeps frezzing up on frg side i been trying to find a heater for it, or that is what the service man told me was out on it, it cost me 70.00 to just find out that he dont service Samsung because they are basicly good looking junk, I wish i never got mine, and i am now out 1500.00 for it and that was getting it at lowes that DONT even know Who can Service These.
