Toyota Js021 Jeans
This is a good machine, albeit the model I have is now rather old. The accessories package is suprisingly complete (you would have to buy some as extras for most machines).
This is a good machine. I have never had any trouble with it and would recommend it.
However, the manual I received with my model could be more "instructive", and for a novice the explanations may not be insufficent. However, the internet does help resolve this aspect.
I have given 3 stars for service and support, but actually I have never need to to avail of any.

3 Major Quality Control Faults On 1 Machine.
The accessory tray failed to lock into place and would drop off or wobble uncontrollably
2nd the light flickered and dimmed on and off till I removed it and cleared the contact obstructing particles.
3rdly the tread when run through the machine showed oil marks on 1 side consistant with the thread grabbing when pulled towards the needle yet not in the opposite direction. The tension dial made no difference on any setting.
Lastly the manual was vague and I had to use utubes to work out that it was really that faulty, and not me in any way.
The 1st 2 should have been clearly picked up during a reasonable quality control check system!
It cost me 3 trips back to the purchase shop to get the machine replaced. Not to mention all the time and milage involved in such a complete fiasco. TOYOTA didn't match its repution as they sell it.

I Think Overall The Toyota Js021 Is A Very Good Ma
I think overall the Toyota JS021 is a very good machine. It is slightly noisy, but I can live with that because it is also very quick.
Q&A
Any idea where I can get a manual please?
Thread breaks all the time, tried good quality cotton but still breaks. Sews well on soft fabric like felt but as soon as I try a heavier cotton and pick up speed the thread breaks! Arghhh! Anyone else have this problem?
