This machine has a design fault where the door seal is corrigated at the bottom and the drain hole is situated above the corrigations. This means the door seal holds a pool of water after every use and HAS TO BE WIPED OUT AFTER EVERY WASH IF YOU DON'T WANT A POND SMELLING MACHINE. This is an integrated appliance where you can't shut the kitchen unit door or the machine door for any length of time because it goes smelly! We went away for a couple of weeks making sure we dried the seal as much as possible and leaving both doors ajar only to return to the pond smell, Ah lovely!!. This machine was only purchased in March 2014 and only used since May 14. Electrolux say there's nothing wrong and won't do anything suprise suprise. The retailer has jumped on Electrolux's statement and won't do any thing (there a major Electrolux supplier), well I never.

There are other issues with this model such as the outer glass on the door getting so hot I won't want to accidentally touch it and certainly would keep the kitchen unit door shut if there were children about but yet again Electrolux say that's normal. LOL

So if you like the smell of pond water buy one of these, but other wise spend your £600+ on a different machine.
