Indesit WIDL126

Early machines had a problem with the door interlock this would fail and basically fry itself ( this happened to mine just after the warranty run out but Indesit sent an engineer to fix for free anyway as a gesture of goodwill) They know about this issue and have replaced mine with the non buggy parts / software.

So onto the machine itself - washing machine - good.

Dryer not so good - you need to be careful not to set it on the dryest setting or your clothes will come out wrinkled the same happens if you use the timer option for too long a period of time.

This seems to me like a good value basic machine that does the job fairly well.

The Indesit WIDL126 is total rubbish, had nothing but trouble with this machine has been repaired 8 times in 2 years.

Our Indesit WIDL126 broke down 6 times in first 4 months. Customer service was poor.

My Indesit WIDL126 broke down in first month took two weeks to repair (loose belt) refused to replace or refund.

It broke down again at twelve months, set machine to do a boil wash went out for the day came home to a house that had been steaming for a number of hours everything was wet (the boil wash setting just kept on boiling the water the house smelt of clothes being washed for a while!

Also a button keeps falling off and the tray cover detaches.
