Neff Integrated Washer Dryer V5360X0

Had this for 4 years, 4 years of constant trouble. The dryer hasn't worked properly from the start had the engineers out 5 or 6 times and reset the dryer thermostat several times myself having been shown how by one of them.

Now its packed up completely.

German engineering? Junk with a silly price tag.

We have had the machine for 8 years. 8 years of constant difficulty with unclearing fluff build up, stopping after RINSE even though RINSE HOLD is off and on and on. Now the thing needs an essential part for repair, we find the part is no longer available and we should buy a new machine. So I took the machine apart to see if the broken bit is repairable, and discovered the truth of Neff engineering. Never again: weak parts, poorly designed using the wrong materials. How about a design which includes a duct made of brittle plastic connecting the rubber drum seal (which thrashes about during spinning) to an rigid alloy duct fixed to the body of the machine? Good eh? I'm not surprised they have run out of spares - if it was a car they would have had a major recall, but housewives (being a bit dim according to Neff) are supposed to shut up and pay the money. Well not this one, not this engineer, not to Neff anyway. Frankly, now I know I'm amazed that this heap of third rate design lasted this long.

very good machine plenty of washing options and the drying function works better than any of my previous machines . the clothes after the wash were virtually dry due to the high spin speed meaning it cost me less electricity on drying would recomend this machine this machine to anyone i cant fault it

I chose the Neff Integrated washer dryer because it was marketed as being extremely quiet, but an instability problem meant it vibrated so strongly that the whole house shook and things flew off my kitchen surfaces.

I wasn't happy with the variety of wash programmes. There is no option to choose a prewash with a variety of temperatures and no option for extra rinse.

Otherwise a solid sturdy fairly basic machine with good wash results and they tell me they have solved the instability with the subsequent model (V5340X0GB).

I however intend to change to something with a better choice of programmes where I can select a prewash at 40 and an extra rinse on occasion.
