The Worst, Most Annoying Appliance I've Ever Used

It washes fine but whoever thought it was a good idea to have it beep loudly and incessantly until you turn it off after finishing is an imbecile. It's so loud and annoying you have to stoo what youre doing to sort it out. I hate the thing and woukd never recommend it for this reason.

- Superb, Very High Quality Machine. - Very Q

- Superb, very high quality machine.

- Very quiet 69dB spinning @ 1,600rpm

- Triple A rated:

- 49 litres water consumption

- 1.03kW/hr electricity consumption

- 1,600rpm spin speed

Extremely quiet despite the 1,600rpm spin speed, and considerably quieter still at lower speeds, this Bosch washing machine is designed to last. The machine has stainless steel inner and outer drums, a cast iron spider, full electronic motor speed control, and a "hydrosensor" to drop or add rinse cycles as required.

The brushes on the motor aren't replacable, and new motors are very expensive. But, the motor, pump and even main drum bearings are all easy to replace when the time does come.

Bosch Wg3300 Had The Machine For The Last Five Yea

Bosch WG3300 Had the machine for the last five years. Overall I have been pleased with the performance but I am now unhappy with the smell of the machine it smells constantly damp, even though I never closed the door after the machine had finished. I do now otherwise it makes the kitchen smell. I have tried the boil wash cycle several times, perfume, bicarbonate of soda and bleach all to no avail. This weekend I am off to buy a new one. Not necessarily a Bosch, but I will keep an open mind. By the way I agree with the earlier review re the pump water... no chance of catching it just flood the floor and mop it up! Cons-Annoying bleep when finished one time is enough and spin cycle lasts far too long (13 mins)

Another In A Disapointing (now Terminated) Bos

Another in a disapointing (now terminated) Bosch relationship.

Pump failed after 3 years - which is apparently industry standard!!! (not my standard)

Draining water from machine when filter / pump jammed very awkward. Forget trying to collect water, it is easier to flood the floor and mop up.

cathywarner

My washer is having problems getting balanced. We were just given a Bosch 3300 washer. Does this washer need to be perfectly level to spin correctly or do I need to get it serviced?
