GE WDSR2080G2WW Washer

We have had a GE washer model WDSR2080G2WW for about 2 years now. I have had to order replacement dials on the dryer and washer pair. The dials where they turn the gear to select your wash cycle are made out of plastic. It's not like I can blame the dog or kids for this one because we have none of either. It's just us a middle aged couple.

Seriously! What was GE thinking?? A highly used dial and it's made out of cheap plastic, of course it's going to break! I would advice you to NOT buy this crappy washer or similar GE dial configuration top loading washer. The dials break easily and they are tricky to fix. I'm hoping to get rid of the washer/dryer pair as soon as something major happens to one of them.
