Don't Buy

On the surface this machine looks attractive and is very easy to use, it has a wide selection of programmes, and a maximum spin speed of 1600 RPM. It's best programme is the cottons 40 which takes around an hour, ideal for loads not too badly soiled. The rinses are thorough, and an extra one can be selected. The spin is the downside, although the machine appears to take great care in balancing the load, it doesn't always get it right and the machine can be very noisy. I'm on my second one, as my original one developed a fault they couldn't fix. The replacement is now about to have its third repair, and its only 2 years old. The problem is on the final spin, the load frequently comes out warm, and sometimes hot. There is an acrid smell of burning, and the drum is also hot to the touch. After I used it last time I ran it on a rinse and spin programme to try and get rid of the burning smell, and on its fast spin could see blue flashes inside the machine and again the smell. My advice is don't buy it, suppose you popped a load in and went shopping, and it set the load on fire?
