Hotpoint WMUD962P Washing Machine

Iv'e had this washing machine for two years and it has now died on me. All the electrics have gone and it leaks. Its had use pretty much everyday since I got it but for the price which was expensive, I've had other machines that have lasted me years and worked just as well for half the price. Too many electrics to go wrong on this machine. Shame. I wont be buying Hotpoint again.

Had this a while and it still washes well. Finishes pretty quick and doesn't make too much noise. Pretty happy

This is a an exceptionally good washing machine, and there's nothing really to fault it. The capacity is huge (9kg); it is quiet; the clothes come out surprisingly dry and certainly clean; there are a good selection of wash programmes (including your own custom ones), with plenty of flexibility for extra rinse or quick wash; the manual is clear; the packaging is not excessive... it's all good.

I particularly like the service wash feature, which gives the machine a chance to self-clean. Also, the way the machine can cope with liquid detergents - there's even a little storage space for the adaptor in the detergent drawer.

Minor niggle: the 'time remaining' indicator isn't totally accurate. I'm struggling to find anything else to quibble about.
