That is if you don’t mind replacing the drain pump every year. Mine has failed annually and required a pricey repair. Worse, the company is totally unresponsive. Look for something else as far as I am concerned.

We have the black model. Ours is over 10 years old and still using it in 2020. We have 2 boys so plenty dirty clothes. Has never needed any repair, works great. It is Regular capacity at just 3.8 cubic feet. In fact we would hate to replace it as the next one may not be this reliable. WM2277Hb

Been a piece of junk since day 1, shaking like mad even after balancing. As if that wasn't enough then both washer and drier only lasted about 5 years. $2,500 investment and already replaced both. Never buy LG again! They lost my business.

Like the style, looks very pretty, however, I have never been satisfied with how it washes my clothing. My whites I started sanitizing just to get clean! After about 6 1/2 years (purchased 5 year warranty). The machine started vibrating really bad only to find out the rods that support the drum had broken. Repairs are going to be around 500.00- 550.00. Person that came out to service states that getting the parts are harder the a GE or Kennmore because of locaton of warehouse for LG, and you can only get parts from them!

I would have like to have know the durability if you are doing laundry several times per week and the. Not sure if any of the other models from LG are any better.

This washer looks fancy and pretty but do not buy! Ours just died after less than 7 years. We've also had multiple repairs on it. The repairs are expensive too. Waste of money and LG support is terrible. It's obviously defective yet they do nothing!

This machine has never met up to my expectations. My old whirlpool/Kenmore machines were 100 times better than this washer. My machine is 6 years old and needs over $500 in repairs done. I have never really liked the machine. It doesn't clean clothes very well and the matching dryer takes forever to get clothing dry. I will never again purchase an LG appliance.

When I bought my house, the washing machine was here from the previous owners. I thought they just didn't want to deal with the weight and problem with trying to take it with them. Now I realize they were just happy to have it out of there lives. Don't be fooled by it's futuristic design, fancy buttons and hundred washing options you'll never actually use. This is the Pinto of washing machines. LG should recall this thing and give money in reparations. First it stops working and gives the "LE" error sign. Nobody knows for sure why this happens. Some say it's overloaded with clothes. Others think it's too much soap gumming the machine up. The other thing is the stupid design of the soap dispenser which allows the fabric softener cup inside jam within and makes it impossible to open. This will keep happening, no matter how many times you fix it. Avoid at all costs.

Bought this several years ago. Never had one single problem with it. So easy to use, my 8 year old son did his own laundry. Push a button and it goes. Love everything about it and so glad I bought it.

One star because durability, service, and support are the main reasons I buy a washer - all washers are releatively easy to use. The WM2277H gasket grows mold and the LE code is a problem (cha-ching for more service). The matching dryer also started making noise just after the warranty expired and lint sneaks past the filter even if you change it after every load. Looks like LG is just another poorly made product that is marketed as a quality product. Also looks like the "5 star" reviewer is either an LG plant or just lucky.

No more LG anything for me the rest of my life. I paid a lot of money for the front loading washer and matching dryer and it represents a poor value, and yes, I read and follow the manufacturer's directions. I can only assume at this point this poor workmanship extends to other LG products.

Regarding the LG WM2277HW, i like it because of its large capacity, it's easy to use and has proven to be durable. Another thing I must say is that every time you look at these reviews you see the same -in my opinion- ignorant coments about every brand of front load washer. If you want to keep the odour down you have to leave the door open on a front load washer between cycles. This lets the washer dry between loads and prevents the stale water smell (mildew) from forming.

If you have some other issue in your clothes then you must have something in your water that is causing that.

Clean the whole machine using bleach and hot water by running a cycle. Many machines have a clean washer cycle.

It is amazing to me how many people don't read the manual of these machines.
