Zanussi Lindo 300 ZWF81263W

We have had to replace this washing machine in under 2 years as the bearings went. The bearings & drum are a sealed unit. We now have a Beco. The oil from the bearings has ruined our clothes & bedding. The service from the Zanussi call centre was also of a poor standard. Would not recommend.

Damaging to Zanussi's good reputation, worst household purchade l have ever mafe. The lindo 300 has no filter on it, so within a year of use all washing begins to smell sour and mouldy, spent a fortune on cleaners. You have to put the washing machine on its side and dismantle the pump to clean it not a straight forward task. Save yourself the hassle dont buy this machine

Serial Number behind door seal, not much good if door won't open. No accessible Filter for user to clean. 8days for engineer to come to nearly new machine. Drain Pump found to be full of Lint and Hair, 3 washing up bowls of water drained out using one of our small saucepans and transferred to bowl. NEVER Again will I buy any machine without an accessible by user Filter.

This is the third Zanussi washing machine in 30 years, the first two were excellent. I am rather disappointed with this machine. Although it washes well and has a decent combination of programmes it is not really suitable for a single household. It is over sensitive to the size of the load, if it doesn't like it, it clicks and peeps on the last minute of its cycle, refusing to spin. Then one has to work out which button to press to complete cycle and open door. This has happened with a light load (pair of trousers and a jersey) and also with a larger load (duvet cover, sheet, pillowcases and towel. I just wanted a machine to wash things without any fuss !
