Manufacturers Used By Wow Factor Kitchens
Hi All,
I have also been stung by Wow Factor Kitchen Stealers... They promise made to measure but that's all they do is measure and never deliver and take your money and prolong and NOT deliver.
Its been 8 months and now I hear they have gone into liquidation. Now I have managed to find out that they were using:
DFK Head Office & Factory, Fairfax House, Hodgson Lane, Drighlington, West Yorkshire, BD11 1JS, 0113 3856700. Main person to speak to is Mike.
They have a number of kitchens waiting to be delivered but cannot release due to non-payment from Wow Factor Kitchens (Direct Home Improvements (Huddersfield) Ltd).
I have contacted them and they are aware of our situation and they are willing to honour the same trade rate for customers who have been robbed.
Please contact them and most likely have your order or item ready. Hope this helps.

terrible experience with this company. Placed an order for a fitted bedroom in december and was promised i will recieve my order in six weeks, as the time came obviously didn't recieve my order had to persistently call them and finally was told the order was lost over christmas and will be placing it again and i will definetly get it in march. march came and order did not arrive. Continously chased this company rang them evryday and was just told someone will get in touch with you, no one evry got in touch. The salesperson i placed the order through was very keen and made alot of promises but he also avoids answering calls. Paid a deposit off £900 and am still waiting for a refund. Poor customer service this company is a nusiance. Has anyone recieved a refund from them??

This company is a dsgrace just heard from my friends they were part of a team called ADVANCED KITCHENS too and the only reason i found this was whilst talking about them and apparently they ripped a lot of people of then too and went bankrupt and the same salesman ADAM now working for them should really as you say contact Dominique from cowboy traders ... i am certain they will set up again and will be ripping people off yet again ..
If they have done this once they wont be stopping there ...
Hello, you have my sympathies, I know how difficult it is dealing with this company. Trying to get our money back at the moment, write to them and send letters in the normal post as well as by recorded delivery. We have given them a deadline for a full refund of £4284 and if not received, we will be make an application to the small claims court as advised by our legal representatives.Best to also make consumer direct/trading standards aware too so that they can keep a note of what is going on and the number of people who have been ripped off left right and centre!! The more people that make a noise about this company the more chance of redress? and also making sure that this does not happen to others.I was so distraught that I have been thinking about contacting Dominique from Cowboy Traders to follow them up as in my opinion they are rogue traders. My real name comes up on my review as I am not afraid to speak the truth and believe that companies who do not provide the service they have agreed with their customers should not be allowed to operate!!

We were very impressed with the quality of the product that we were shown and as they had a showroom within a large electrical store in Bradford we thought they were a genuine company. The Sales People came across as very polite and professional too.
Well so far we naively paid them upfront in cash(£4,000+) as we were told they had to have the monies before they could release the kitchen for delivery!!
Have we received the kitchen units yet?? NO
I wonder when we will see this kitchen.
Please do not part with your cash to this company.

Just wanted to give an update on our current situation with this company. After being fobbed off by Wow Factor Kitchens and told to be patient this company has now got the administrators in!!We have had a letter about this.
What I cant understand is if a company doesnt make a profit or even break even from their sales then you can understand if they experience financial difficulties. However if a company is taking money from lots of customers and delivering any goods or any part goods where has all the money gone?? Thats what I want to know.
They must have known well in advance they were having problems but they were continuing to sell and advertise their services. Its downright shameful.
I can see them just setting up again somewhere else with another name and then doing the same thing all over again.
Sorry to hear of your experience but you should go to the manufacturer direct they were extremely helpful in sorting all our problems out and I would have no hesitation in recommending them they are D.F.K. and are based in Drighlington and I am aware they are helping others in the same situation .
We have asked for a refund from this company and for all of our money £4,000+ to be returned to us and given them a deadline for this too. I cant believe I didnt read any reviews about this company prior to placing my order!! I do hope that my review will stop other people from losing their money to this company. Its absolutely heartbreaking. People work really hard to make ends meet and then you come across others who have no qalms about taking money under false promises.

What can i say!! Great design great functional kitchen,great price,fantastic service.
I have seen some shoddy service and workmen in my life but this company cannot do enough and always go the extra mile. Writing this is the least i can do.

They get the deposit and thats another one on their list without the dream kitchen,,,
"Wow Give deposit Wow No kitchenS " thats what they should be called and not WOW FACTOR KITCHENS !!!!
Be aware i say and stay well clear from this company and the representative involved they all in together to rip off genuine hardworking customers savings and dream kitchens..
I wrote a review about Wow Factor Kitchens and looks like they werent too impressed in hearing the truth!! they asked for my review to be withdrawn!! All I can say is that I wrote from personal experience of them as I didnt want anyone else to lose money like I have done, Its been an awful experience. I am now seeking legal advice in an attempt to retrieve my money. Wow factor hadnt bothered to get in touch with us for ages, but once I wrote about them they did ring us and say it was affecting their business!! I should hope so . Only God knows how many other people they have done the same too.
I agree with the mystery guests response that it would be a great if there was an opportunity to see the kitchen where the reviewer has left a 5 star rating and excellent feedback!!

Wow Factor Kitchens - trading name of Direct Home Improvements (Huddersfield) - good kitchen designer/salesman but after that everything went downhill. We waited nearly 3 months for some cupboard doors to be made to measure; we were given 3 dates for delivery of these, which came and went, and no communication from the company unless prompted by us. The items only arrived following a letter threatening legal action, and the firm did at that point suddenly become more helpful. The subcontractors they employed (joiner and electrician) did a poor job and we decided to use another company to finish the kitchen and to make good, as far as possible, the substandard work we had been left with. The kitchen units themselves are okay, pretty standard (one of the made to measure cupboard doors does not line up, although the measurements were taken 3 times, and we will be asking for a replacement). The price would have been reasonable if we had not had to pay over £1000 to the other builders to complete the job. The customer service was extremely poor. It would not have been so stressful and frustrating waiting for the units if there had been good communication from the company. As it is, the whole experience has left us wishing we had not bothered.

Yes we too have had a very negative experience from Wow Factor Kitchens. In fact havent been able to get any feedback from them in the past 2 weeks!! We are very sure now that we have lost our money to them. We are pursing legal action too and have been in touch with trading standards about them. Not a good company to deal with at all.
Exactly the same experience as yourself. we have paid more than £4,000 to this company and havent seen our made to measure kitchen units as yet!! doubt if we will.
We have been in touch with trading standards too. Companies like this should not be allowed to get away like this.
