You order the kit without needing to go to as dentist,so no time off work.the self impression kit arrived the next day with straightforward instructions.I did need to email a photo to customer service who were really helpful and gave me some tips to improve and sure enough I got it right. After I sent it back (free) they designed my new smile and I can say the company changed m y life.I have a natural beautiful white smile. I get a lot of compliments and feel 10 years younger. Thank you instasmile.

In the beginning, everything seemed amicable and going according to plan. the person I dealt with was compliant and seemed to go out of his way to be professional. Then, the numerous impressions and talk of "drag" and "gumline" defaults became the reaction to what seemed like endless down time. Granted, my dental profile is anything but the norm and is my responsibilty for having these issues to begin with. However, it dramatizes the reason for the product in the first place and now after six/seven sets of impressions (actually lost count) and endless frustration, I STILL Do not have the appliance. In addition, my e-mail requests for updates now go unanswered adding to my frustration and total lack of confidence in this company whether it be SEBL Group, Instasmile, or DenLabs affilliated by any other name. This product line IMHO, is NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME and should be avoided! I'm furious and feel ripped off because I'm out $479 for some putty and trays!!

I ordered clip on vneers for my upper teeth to cover a gap. Getting accurate self-impression of teeth can be VERY TRICKY. I followed the instruction leaflet word for word and watched their video but i could not get it right. I had eight attempts but the impressions weren't right. Each time i took an impression i sent INSTAsmile a photo for them to check, and I was told they weren't correct.

In the end I gave up and asked for a refund. They DEDUCTED £75 before giving me a REFUND.

I questioned the deduction - at first INSTAsmile told me they deducted 30% as handling fee, citing this is in there T&C. I challenged them that there is no such clause in their T&C. They came back and said they retained £75 because production had begun and they don't have to give me a refund once production starts.

Not sure what production INSTAsmile were referring to - for production to have begun the self-impression of my teeth had to be accurate. But the impressions weren't right so production of the vneeers never started.

I expected to be charged for the self impression kits before they gave me a refund. This would be £25 not £75.

INSTAsmile are just waiting to FLEECE you - so BE CAREFUL.
