Failure
I bought two boxes of this color. The first one did absolutely nothing after following directions completely. I tried the second box the following month...nothing, no color change whatsoever!! Waste of time and money. I am very surprised Loreal would put out such an inferior product!
This Product Just Does Not Work
I tried several different boxes of this product. After thorough shaking, NO color dispensed into the mousse at all. It had no effect on my hair. Waste of time and money. Fortunately I got it very inexpensively. If I had paid the $22 sometimes charged for this I would be really irate.

Wth???
I was half way through a root touch up when I realized there was ZERO color developing on my hair. Believe me when I say I shook & shook this stuff prior to using. So I think "Ok, I didn't shake it enough.". I shook until my arms hurt, squirted some out on my hand, a tiny speck of color comes out. Shake & shake! Again just a smidge of color appears. Ok, i give up. Basically what I ended up doing by using this product is lift rather than darken my root color. Pretty much a reverse ombre. This product needs to be taken off store shelves EVERY WHERE!! I've dyed my hair for years & this is the first review I've ever felt the need to write. Bummer!!

Don't Waste Your Money!!!!!
This is the absolute WORST hair color I have ever used! I was trying to touch-up root color. It didn't cover any gray--it's as if I never colored my hair! It didn't color at all! It wasn't cheap either--$13.97 at Wal-Mart. I am SOOOOOoooo disappointed as I attempted the root touch-up on Christmas Eve day--no time to redo. My hair looks like horrible! I do NOT recommend this product--not even to just 'try it'. You will be DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Needs Improvement
Love the concept, but there is not enough shaking that you can do to get even developer to color, as a result it burned my scalp. Wished it worked the concept is awesome.

Messy To Apply
What a mess to apply! It was hard to keep bottle free of foam during application. My hair is very thick and I couldn't apply directly to roots. I had to apply to fingertips and massage it in that way. Not sure how the color is going to turn out. I think it need an easier way to apply to roots. The directions said to keep the bottle vertical. This was awkward. Probably won't purchase again even if color is good.
Why Bother
I have always been a big fan of Loreal Preference. I couldn't find my color anywhere except in their brand mousse. My roots don't look like I colored my hair at all.Very disappointed in this product. I haven't been able to find the color for so long I'm hoping they didn't discontinue it in the regular preference.
Whys It Called Hair Color?
ive always been told the higher priced dyes last longer, but in this case following the directions my light brown hair is still brown with streaks of black. My roots didn't color at all, looks like I dyed it 4 months ago instead of 16 hours ago. very disappointing product, now ill have to re-dye my hair after 24 hours just so its one color.

Waste Of Time And Money
I had such high hopes that the no mix Loreal Pairis Superior Preference Absolute Mousse was going to make this task easier and less messy. I followed directions exactly, made sure I got both sides clicked in to the container. Shook it at all the described times. Mousse was pretty easy to apply. I didn't mind having to shake it all the time but I did mind having the bit of mousse on the spout fly all over the place when I was shaking it, even though I tried to remove it each time from the opening with a tissue. But the product never worked. Not at all. It didn't cover any of the gray roots that had grown out since the last time I colored and didn't appear to freshen up the color of the rest of the length of my hair either. What a waste of time and money. I had timed the coloring of my hair just before we are leaving on an international trip (I have to touch up the roots every 4 to 6 weeks) and now I only have one day to either go on this trip of a life time with ugly roots and dull hair or risk damaging my hair by coloring with my usual product tomorrow. This sucks. They should take this off the market before they continue to ruin peoples plans and thus ruin their companies reputation.

Waste Of Money!
This must be the worst Hair Colorant ever, easy to use but foam is thin, does NOT cover roots or greying hair even although I followed it to the letter; lacks any shine or lustre. Don't waste your money on this product.
Q&A
I just purchased L'Oreal preference mousse absolute hair color. Reviews are very bad!! Did they improve it since 2015?
