Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL Red Passion R43

Schwarzkopf Red passion #R43: i have been using this hair dye for 3 - 4 months now, and have had to re-dye every couple of weeks in order to keep the colour up. the colour is not as vibrant as it appears on the box and is slightly darker, although is a vibrant, impressive red when the light hits it, including average day light. this product does wash out fast, as all reds do, although from my experience it is better than many other brands of red dye that i have used from the colour-stay perspective. it does wash out very obviously in the shower for about the first 3 washes each time after freshly dying, turning the water a dramatic red colour but the effect on the colour of your hair is not as dramatic as it would appear looking at the colour of the water. this hair dye does stain your head easily, i would recommend wiping off immediately with make-up wipes and using old or red towels after every single wash as it does stain material too. after a few washes the hair colour turns a lighter red/brown colour ( considering my natural hair colour is light brown/orban and i have dyed over already red hair with this colour). i also wear hair extensions which were previously a pinky red colour, i dyed over these with the same hair dye, red passion, and found that the colour takes better to my hair extensions and lasts longer on them then it does on my natural hair, (even though i was advised not to dye them) this is possibly due to the silicon coating used on hair extensions when they were made (they are real human hair)although from the first dye they did match my real hair. although the up-keep is needed every couple of weeks, the hair dye wears off a nice colour. this brand is known for its colour vibrancy and in the uk the cheapest place to buy it that i have found is B&Ms (a shop which sells every-day items) at the price of £4.50. i'm still in search for a more vibrant red but i'l be using this for a long time as i have no concerns with it! i would recommend this hair dye to a friend. :)

well after years of trying out nearly all brands of hair dye and years of ending up with roots different colours to the ends, i decided to try schwarzkopf xxl... AMAZING!! Makes all my hair the same colour! and yes it does fade a little but sometimes that colour is better than the original! by far the best dye i've used so far :D

I made a huge mistake today by using a hair bleach lightener to make my dyed brown hair a caramel colour, The outcome was a disaster and my hair was orange on the length of my hair and yellow at the roots!!!!

I felt like crying until my best friend came to the rescue and went to Boots and bought me a box of Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL Red Passion R43. It cost £4.89p which is average price for a box of hair dye. I applied the dye to my hair and waited for the 30 minutes that's advised on the instructions leaflet... I rinsed my hair out in the shower for a very long time, until the water ran clear and then conditioned using the conditioner tube they provide in the box, I have quite short bobbed hair and I used the whole tube, I let that soak into my hair and after I washed it out my hair felt lovely and soft... I absolutely love the colour, it looks like a Pillar Box Red but my hair was bleached before hand so if you are putting the dye over darker hair the outcome will probably turn out different to mine... Overall 4* out of 5 and I will definitely buy again, Highly recommended to anyone who likes bright striking colours on their hair.

I have recently used this hair dye and i know a lot of people who have used this hair dye in the past, the color stays in your hair for about a month, when it fades it gets a little darker but nothing too bad. The smell of the chemicals wern't strong, iv used Live hair coloring quite a few times and i have to admit it is a really great outcome every time. I recomend if people are wanting to die there hair very vibrant colors ( purple, red ) that they should deffinatly buy this brand!
