Worst Experience Ever

The lady that runs the shop is extremely in your face and intimidating. She said it would take 40mins to make up the clip in extensions for me. I told her the time I was coming back and rang her and she kept hanging up on me once I had paid her. Eventually got hold of her and she said she had to get chicken!!? Very professional... Not! I was in a rush and picked up the £140 clip in extensions that she said I would only need these as they are so thick and left with out looking. Once I had got in the car I looked at them properly and I have never seen stitching like it. The hair colour is light brown and she's done child stitching in black thread, and the clips are hanging off. Not to mention there is only 2 strips for the back and 1 small strip either side for the front. I was actually furious and she hasn't answered the phone to me since. I don't live near the area and haven't been able to go back. All I would say is don't even bother going in there. Worst mistake ever. I would rather get them off eBay any day!

Such Great Hair Weave

Weave got Style has now moved to Bromley. The hair and the service is amazing. I have now had extensions for years and only used WGS in the last two years. They are by far the best exstensions I've ever had. They are so good for my hair. The tension they use is perfect so there is no damage to my hair. I am a very happy customer.

Went to bluewater today having looked on line about this company. Have used them before a few years ago then thought they were good. The two girls looked uninterested wearing hats and jackets wasn't quite sure they even worked there. Asked how much as online it says weaves from 160.00. The board there says from 200.00 , so when i enquired the price for 16 inch weave , bluntly got told 300.00 when i said online the price was different they told me they were for clip ins. Really ... wouldnt touch this company with a barge pole . how are these a lot cheaper as there site says than other hair extension places. Either a bad company or just bad staff at bluewater.

Best Hair Ever

I have had hair extensions for 12 years. For the last five years I have been visiting Weave Got Style. I can honestly say they are the best of all the extension places I have visited. I have had every type of extension possible but these are the best and least damaging to your hair. I am delighted with the results. My hair is in so much better condition since visiting WGS. Oh and they have loads of regulars like me. They have been in Bluewater six years!!

Ripped off completely, terrible quality hair and rude staff. Pretty sure this is why they are no longer open in London, so do feel sorry for the owner but if this is how the business is ran, then no wonder. The staff whisper when doing hair which seems suspicious and added to the whole experience being very peculiar. I'm taking further action now after a complaint letter I sent was ignored. I would strongly avdise anyone to avoid this 'salon'.

Feel Great

I had my hair done few days ago for the first time. I won't lie I was very nervous and not sure if I was doing the right thing. When I got there the girls were ever so helpful and lovely, I was asking so many questions but they were happy to answer them all. I have had short hair for a long time now and I have been wanting my long hair back for ages. The hair feels so real and the colour match is perfect! My partner couldn't get over how natural it looked.

I would recommend Weave Got Style to anyone who is fed up of having short hair! Thank you for such a great service and for my new long hair! :) xxxx

Love Them!!!

I get my weave in hair extensions done here and they match with my hair perfectly. The staff are really helpful, they understand my needs. They do a good job everytime and that is why i come back again and again. These are much better than microbead hair extensions!

Terrible Quality Hair

I had my hair waved at Selfridges (thinking it can only mean quality) I was advised during my consultation that the hair used was top quality human hair (cuticle correct). After receiving the "hard sale" I opted with 3 rows at 16inch. The girl doing my hair was nice enough, although kept disappearing and returning with different hair samples, some looked thick and good quality others looked like rat tails. At this point I had no idea which ones she was actually putting in my hair. 2 hours and £380 poorer, I was pleasantly surprised with my new look. Until the next day! It's worth mentioning I am a hair and beauty junkie, and have had extensions before and know how to carefully maintain them. I washed my hair and could not believe the frizzy mess I was left with, i took a picture and wish i could post it as a waning, its dry, tatty and out of control, i have seen better quality synthetic hair!!To achieve a decent look would mean straightening the hair within an inch of its life, which can only mean that the life of the hair will significantly suffer, there is no chance of using this hair for 2-3 months as stated. Not what I was expecting after 1 day. I have tried everything, olive oil (as recommended) leave in conditioner, rollers....nothing tames the frizz and when wet they are out of control curly, not straight as sold to me! . The ends are like straw and I have had to trim the hair twice already (it's been just 5 days) I appreciate that the reviews on here are pretty positive which leaves me bewildered? Unless I have been sold a dodgy batch of hair? I have been told that that hair can not be exchanged or refunded (understandable) but despite this the quality of the hair I have purchased is the worse I have experienced, all my friends wear extensions and they cannot believe I paid for these extensions considering the quality and the short period of time these have been in my hair. Be warned! The aftercare from weave got style is dismissive and unhelpful. I feel totally cheated and surprised that Selfridges houses such a shoddy service.

Be Informed About Weave !!

The thing is everyone can write reviews about weave but if you aren't well informed then it becomes biased.

I'm a hairdresser myself and unless all your hair is plaited in like Afro-Caribbean, your hair cannot actually be drastically damaged by the weave. We hear all these stories about weave is bad for you but was it done the right way ?? BE INFORMED !!! The only way a tiny part of your hair will ever be damaged is if your stylist pulls your hair when doing the braids. That can easily be avoided... Yes the braid has to be tight but it doesn't mean your hair has to be pulled !!

My only critique about Weave got style is that you can either get a good or bad stylist. The employers do not know how to judge the quality of their stylist until they get customer feedback. It's like any other hairdresser, everyone always has their best stylist. Indeed the culture of the company can affect the service but it is down to the employees to give you that one in a life time experience.

In regards to the hair, I think too many of you expect miracles. They have now changed the hair (more expensive) they use to virgin hair(cuticle hair), it still human hair but less processed. I believe some of it is still dyed to achieve the right colours.

The issue here is not the quality of the hair, it is the inability to manage extensions. I mean some people don't even brush their hair everyday and they wonder. You can't always blame everyone else for your own actions!
