This Is The First Time I've Ever Done A Review On

This is the first time I've ever done a review on anything but I was so impressed with this mascara that I just had to share my thoughts!

Firstly, when it comes to eyelashes,I'm not fortunate to have long luscious ones that curl. I got given the short, straight and stumpy variety. I've lost count of the different mascaras I've wasted my prescious money on over the years, sucked in by the advertising claims (only now when you look closely it says 'enhanced post production' or 'filmed with lash inserts for an even lash line')-yeah right, what a con!

The last mascara I was using for a while was rimmel waterproof mascara which did it's job and also separated my lashes really well. However after using this for several months,I was shocked to discover that it was taking it's toll on my poor eyelashes and they were falling out leaving bald patches. In a state of shock,I frantically scoured the internet for a solution. I came across lots of expensive products for the regrowth of eyelashes,'revitalash, maxolash, lil'lash' but all were far too expensive.

So,I went off to boots, explained my dilemma to a make-up consultant and she came out with what I now view as 'my miracle in a tube'. 'Elizabeth Arden ceramide lash extending mascara'. She explained that it was a treatment which nourishes as well as extends the lashes. She convinced me and so I bought it straight away,at £18 a tube,it's usually more than I would pay for a mascara but I've since found on cheapsmells.com that you can actually buy it for a tenner less! Even at £18,it's well worth the money.

I tried it on as soon as I got home, the tube itself is in a matt gold colour and is nice and sleek looking. The brush is of a good size and glides on the lashes effortlessley and evenly. After the very first application my eyelashes looked thicker, longer and they even held a curl for over 8 hours! As for the mascara being a treatment as well, after a few days of use my bald patches were starting to recover and I could see new eyelashes coming back-hoorah!!!

The mascara didn't smudge but was easily removed at the end of the day,its a great product and I'll be recommending to all my friends,in fact,to anyone that'll listen!!!
