Lancome Hypnose

I have been hunting for a good mascara for a long time now and my hunt is over! This is def. my favourite now! :)

i HAVE BEEN A CONVERT TO LANCOME MASCARA FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND HAVE USED HYPNOSE SINCE IT FIRST CAME OUT AND I HAVE GOT TO SAY IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MASCARA I HAVE EVER USED. EVERY NOW AND AGAIN I WILL TRY A DIOR, YSL, BOOTS OR L'OREAL BUT NON OF THEM COMPARE TO THIS PRODUCT. SO PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE REVIEWS JUST TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.

I don't want to be the party-pooper, but I have to be honest and say that I was extremely disappointed with this mascara, as I have been with most of Lancome's mascaras. I spent quite a few hours sat behind the computer screen, researching and looking at reviews, and I thought Hypnose would be the mascara that works for me. Unfortunately, it was not.

After applying as many strokes as I would with my Maxfactor 2000 Calorie mascara, Lancome's Hypnose made little difference to the appearance of my lashes. Having quite thin, sparse and short eyelashes, a mascara that doesn't 'volumise' leaves my lashes looking like spiders' legs.

I honestly will never buy a Lancome mascara again. This is the second mascara I have bought from them that has been a total disappointment. So far, I have found that Maxfactor 2000 Calorie mascara has been the best mascara for me - it lifts, curls AND thickens the lashes with clumping or stickiness - a fantastic mascara that I'd recommend to all!

It is my first mascara from Lancome(Hypnose), I am really disappointed.

First of all it is difficult to apply. And no long(volume) wimps effect as it was advertised. Eye lashes stick together.

Better to buy cheap mascara(Maybelline) because it's provide much better effect for much less money.

I have tried so many mascaras over the years, and by far Lancome are in my top 3. However, I was quite disappointed by this product as it really did not do for me what was stated by the sales assistant. I would not recommend this mascara as I think that it is not worth the money and did not do what it was sold as!

I'd dreamed about purchasing an Lancome Onyx Hypnose version for a long time, since I really liked the model's lashes on some ad in the magazine. With the purchase I got the same mascara sampler but without sparkles.Well, what can I say? That Onyx one I can ONLY apply on top of my usual mascara since it does NOT give me anything (volume and length) but those sparkles, which is perfect for a night-out.And with that original Hypnose. Despite the smooth texture and good lash defining I was a little bit disappointed. Since my natural lashes are long (and I would NOT say thin) what I always look for in mascaras is 3 things: volume and lengthening and defining. This one gave me only 2 of them. Too bad it gave me no volume at all. With my current (Max Factor Masterpiece Max) mascara I get dramatic look in seconds, and also an intensive black colour..I wasn't able to figure out what was exactly what disappointed me in this mascara more: not enough colour or no volume at all. Anyway, wouldn't like to think that there's no better mascaras out there..PS: I'd say if you're into that natural look, this mascara will be perfect choice for you. Whereas, if you prefer just dramatic look (not talking about 'false lashes' look), this will not be impressive enough for you.

The Lancome Hypnose thickens your lashes very easily, intense colour it has more wax, the effect lasts longer! The effect lasts, but not as long as if it was the waterproof formula.

Ive been on a mascara hunt for a while. I have really short stubby lashes, and I wanted Long and thick Lashes. I tried everything from Cover girl Xtream, to Lancome definicils. I got a trial size of the Hypnose and fell in Love! Im sold for life!

A nice perfume, the bottle squirter needs to be re-thought

My lashes were instantly thickened and lengthened after using Lancome Hypnose mascara!! However, I ended up with a slight raccoon eyes at the end of the night. Great for anyone who doesn't have an oily skin
