Aquolina Pink Sugar

Pink sugar perfume from Aquolina is one of my favorite . It is very sweet smelling like candy . It kinda smells like something a young girl would wear not for alduts . Very summery and sweet . If you want too smell like a candy this perfume is for you .

ok so here goes my personal story of my experience of pink sugar. I'm actually from the uk and really into cosmetics, perfume etc I own 35+ bottles of perfume and my general taste, I will go for are fruity florals or one of my favourates being Britney spears fantasy, sweet perfumes. So I was trolling the net looking for a nice sweet candy like perfume and that's where I came across pink sugar. I was super excited when it sounded like everything I could want in a perfume; cotton candy, caramel and just in general sugar. Now believe me when I say I read countless reviews on people who raved about PS with only a few people who disliked the scent with there reason being, it smelt like liqorise... One thing i hate in every way, but over people were saying I can't detect the liqorise note in it at all. So I went too look for it (thought it might of been hard to find as it's American) but sure enought there was a 100ml bottle on eBay for around £22, so of course i purchased and waited and of course I missed the post and had to go collect it when I had spare time. I was so excited to finally have it tore into the package opened the lip and gave it a whiff, general first impression- I liked it, but as my mum gets headaches easily and she was around i didn't spray i thought I'd save it for my London trip in the morning.

When I was getting ready I sprayed myself all over with PS and thought to myself ok this is strong, all i can smell is sweet liqorise and my god it's strong, maybe I just need to give it time to dry down to a typical vanilla like most sweet perfumes do. I was wrong for the next hour I found myself apologizing to my boyfriend and friends like sorry my perfume is so strong it shud ease off soon, that it didn't do. So we were a little late for the coach to London and I had to run, when aboared the coach where obviously I was warm from running and it had warmed my perfume , the smell was that over whelming sweet sweet liqorise smell and it actually made me feel sick to my stomach and for the next 4 hours to London confined in that small space I felt so sick of PS it was just over whelmingly sickly liqorisely.

PS lasted all day.. From 6am, through about 20 miles of walking through london untill i showerd around 12pm :| It didn't dry down to a vanilla base I hoped so much for. After that day the smell of PS actually made my stomach turn even thinking about it and I had to actually remove it from my room as to look at made me think of the smell :( I hated it that much in some slight way my BS fantasy even started to remind me of it and I had to lay off of that for a while.

I would never repurchase (surprised? Lol) and the only person I would recommend this too would be someone who loves liqorise that much they want to smell like it alllll day long and most importantly someone I'm not going to be in a confined space with!
