Gucci Rush

This is a lovely floral fragrance. Fresh and clean for spring summer.

I love this perfume ... some say it smells cheap, but I've researched the ingredients and they are very expensive; Guerlain uses similar ingredients and they are not cheap. I think Victoria Beckham's perfume smells cheap, almost like bubblegum - no thanks. I find the topnote most interesting, and later on the dry-down is very chic and casual. Not really an evening perfume.

I was given this perfume as a gift, I certainly would not have chosen it myself that's for sure! I tried it and it was vile. The bottle was not elegant and the smell was cheap. I had to change my clothes cos the smell would not go away and I felt unclean and not sexy at all. Just say no!!

On the other hand Gucci by Gucci in the brown and gold bottle is amazing! Everyone loves it on me , especially my boyfriend andthis fragrance I'm sure will become a timeclass classic such as Chanel no 5 et al.

There is no mistaking Gucci Rush for any other perfume. It is distinctive, long-lasting, and to the male (like myself) it almost behaves as a sexual pheromone. It certainly presses all the buttons that I would want it to! Considering the previous comment, it might be that Rush is more appealing to men than it is to women. Well, now you know. Ladies, think carefully who you want to stimulate with this perfume - before you apply it.

Its perfect for the morning or early afternoon, it just bright my day up, long lasting too. It always cheers me up.

On a quest for a truly sexy, seductive fragrance that didn't turn into "granny musk" like Poison or go powdery (baby butt isn't my style) like so many scents- I found Gucci rush (among Dior Hypnotic Poison, Bond No.9 Nuits De Noho)- Gucci achieves what few fragrances in this category have- it smells undeniably sexy, but not sexy in sophisticated black dress way, where you cold wear it during the day- sexy in a short sparkly red dress at a nightclub way, and in your face- NOT sophisticated, more bold and on the prowl. This is why it's clearly a special occasion fragrance. It's mysterious and complex, but never ever musty (it may on a few skin types- like the poor girl above who said it smelled like musty old things)The notes don't begin to describe Gucci rush- if it were a color, it would be bright red, if it were a person, it would be Angelina Jolie in 1998 (wild), if it were a profession- it might not be a legal one ;) It's a bold, distinctive enveloping scent, that people always have a strong view point on. For about a year, I made a mixture of this scent with a bright fruity scent, and it was perfect for day use and became inticing but refreshing without smelling like something aimed at 19 year olds by Paris Hilton. My advice with this one is 1 spray is enough, and it can easily be mixed and toned down with a citrus or red fruit scent. If you want a scent like this that is just as sexy, but less sweet and invasive, I strongly recommend Nuits De Noho by Bond No. 9- it uses lavender instead of the rose, and has a sweet honey note that is much more palatable to all noses than the array of florals in Rush.

Just because it's Gucci doesn't mean Gucci Rush perfume smells good! I would rather wear Play-doh scented perfume than this. It was so gross smelling. Eww it reminds me of old decaying things.

I read a review that said Gucci Rush basically smelled like "soapy hooker". It was a weird review. There were a lot of positive ones too, so I bought the smallest sample that was available and tried it out.

Whoa. I repeat, whoa.

I got 6 compliments in one day about how great I smelled, none of them from women. One guy insisted on actually having me write down the scent so he could go order it online for his wife. It was a little insane. My friend, Clare, however, said it smelled "cheap" and "school girl". While I didn't personally love Rush, I thought it smelled too much like candy, the menfolk kept stopping by my desk to re-smell it.

This is definitely a scent for "I'm single and don't want to be", and for going out on the town. Too sexy for every day though.

There is really only one kind of girl that I know that wears Gucci Rush. She's bold, sexy, and fun. Definitely takes a bit of confidence to wear it as it's truly distinct (and a bit musky). I only wear it at night when I go out though, it would be out of place during the day. It's my signature scent and is totally unforgettable- in the good way i'm told :)

I've been using Gucci Rush for 5 years now and I can't get enough. I would never use the same perfume for more than a few months until I found Gucci Rush. It rocks!
